So, I may have found a solution for the issue of the Numpad keys being unable to rotate the camera around in Photo mode while the menu/part selector is open, I went in controls and saw the Menu controls were bound with the Numpad, going into, say "Menu Up" it pops up a message saying that it's conflicting with the camera control, and so just simply removing the binding for each control, you aren't affected by accidentally selecting something while trying to rotate your camera. This may have been a slight oversight, or was related to controller settings, but I think this sort of solves this issue.
Reverse lights are still active on sunburst when in PARK mode in the 1.8 CVT, havent tested the DCT gearboxes tho
In the next update could you guys add roll pan rear bumpers on the Roamer, the D-series trucks and H vans? Just in case you don't know what I'm talking about heres a picture: Basically a flat rear bumper to add to a very clean look as such.
I love the new car but i have 2 minor things that bug me 1. the race suspension has no height setting 2. I would like to use the chrome fascia with other paint styles This thing
The race suspension has a setting for me. View attachment 212198 And to use the chrome fascia on other LeGrans, you need to select "Chrome Trim" under "Paint Design" when you press Ctrl+E while driving a LeGran.
first sorry i didn't see that and second What i meant was using the chrome fascia with a different paint designs.
Bruckell LeGran hood behaves oddly with the body when removed from the body. (in particular, windshield, roof, b-pillars, and front pillars) Ran in safe mode on gridmap with standard unmodified LeGran. Pics below: Not sure why its doing that. I found it completely on accident on a mod map after I crashed into a wall, and I tested it in safe mode just to be sure. You can pick up and drop the hood onto the roof and it impales itself in. You have to kind of get the corner in, not the flat side. Hope this helps.
That was a very nice update, thank you. Now replay mode is much more usable and has become a great tool for taking pictures and video as you can do first the driving and then the filming. Regarding that It would be very helpful to have FOV keys (9 and 3 in the numpad) working in free camera mode. That way we would have a full featured camera to use together with replay mode and alt-U. I really liked the new campaign missions including the map system. Not so much the story and somehow the art of the cutscenes. Both look to me a little bit too childish, but that could be me getting old. I think the writing and to some extent the art, were better in the driver training campaign while the "in mission" design of the Senseless Destruction campaign should not be forgotten as it is really gorgeous and high quality.
So do the torque sensing diffs in this actually send more power to the side with the most traction, or do they just lock with slip?
You pressed CTRL+R to reload the vehicle? It's needed after you uncheck that option. If the problem still persists, do a clean reinstall: http://wiki.beamng.com/BeamNG_FAQ#How_do_I_perform_a_clean_reinstall.3F It's an actual real thing some modern cars have.
I love the update. Especially the new gearbox simulations. The traditional slushbox is simulated very well as is the CVT. The DCT isn't really simulated that well in my opinion. When I set the cruise control on a DCT car and drive at lets say 55 mph the DCT will stay in that gear it is driving instead of shifting to lower the RPM like the traditional and CVT does. Downshifting in a DCT is another thing especially on full throttle. A DCT is basically two gearboxes in one housing with for example 1, 3 and 5 attached to clutch A and 2, 4 and 6 attached to clutch B. So when you drive in 6th gear and you floor the throttle it will try to downshift favoring a gear that is attached to the other clutch, so down to 5 or 3. When downshifting to 3 it bypasses 4th gear completely. In normal driving it will however shift one gear down at a time.
