ripping models from flatout ultimate carnage?

hello I recently picked up flatout uc at a steam sale and I have seen a few wom cars that are ports from from flatout uc and I was wondering how to rip models and textures from the game so I can fix the wom cars and possibly make some cars like @crashmaster does thanks.

 

You will need something like Zmodeler and export it as .obj, then modify model and export as .dae=profit?

 

2 questions,does the software cost money? and where are the models in the steam version? I can't find them anywhere.

 

IDK, i've never played or ripped models, i assume something that says directory could be the one.

 

Flatout cars are a bit hard to get. you will need the bfs unpacker to get the files. there is one for flatout 1 and 2 but sadly none for ultimate carnage.
But im gonna warn you right now, ultimate carnage cars dont have an unpacker made for them so you wont be able to get the cars. i already tried.
I didnt try it with ninja ripper so maybe that works but its up to you to try that.

 

Slight offtopic but does that include GTA IV?

 

Does the bfs unpacker include gta iv? no, bfs unpacker is made to unpack flatout's bfs file format.
For gta iv im having issues because like i said, to get the files you need Zmodeler and you NEED to purchase it to convert the cars. textures you dont need it, there are other alternatives but models im having issues and i currently gave up on trying to get any of the gta models but i would like to get some of the gta v models which sucks.
Maybe one day ill look more into it and finally figure it out but last time i got a hold of a gta model it was with ninja ripper and it was all weird.

 

I realize that the only way to get GTA IV models was to grab the ones ported to GTA SA.

 

I really wish there was an easier way too.

 

I mean there is some way to get it otherwise these wouldnt exist,and these are fouc models because the bonecracker and grinder are only in fouc, the daytina has t-tops,textures and rims that are not in fo2, and the same for the fortune

I would like to check flatout uc but i dont have it on steam, id have to get it the very bad way
now im really scratching my head.

 

get it on steam when it is on sale and download gfwl, when it is on sale it is less than $6

Oh and btw, this webside may be russian but its very useful since it has a ton of ripped 3d models from games.

 

I assume the russians devised a way to rip models?

 

that is all of them, I just need to see if thy added the rear window louvers to their model, because the one I have doesnt have any

Actually, they give you the models but there is a catch... they are in z3d format which means you need zmodeler to get them in another format... just downloaded 2 to see and because i wanted them and its also saying it on the page as well.

Turns out i actually have zmodeler :l

 

They're GTA:SA mod like @Pissh said. In fact, most DRV:SF, Flatout port mods of BeamNG is from those mods (which i realized that the DTS i was working on with the dev team was a GTA:SA mod too)

 

How do i download the stuff?
