I kind of want to make a V12, but not for the Bolide. Maybe a powerless American V12? What car would have one?

Make a V12 for an SBR4 (I know it's not realistic, but still, why not make the sbr4 faster?)

Well the ETKs seem like decent options for V12s, they already have I6s with turbos so a NA V12 would probably fit well and wouldn't be TOO crazy for a german luxury/performance car to have a V12 for the sake of smoothness and performance.

If you've ever been in a semi truck of that era, you'd know that it's fairly realistic.

    ETK K-Series... definitely.

The Bolide would be the default candidate, simply because it is the only stock Mid-Engined car. But since you don't want to use that...

If you want to make a V-12 supercar besides the Bolide... the SBR-4 kinda looks like an Audi R8, if it were mid-engined, and the K-Series could become something like a Mercedes SLS...
    --- Post updated ---
The Bolide feels very ungainly, even for a 80's era, turbocharged V8... A V12 version with more static weight as well as more low-end torque would be even more unpredictable. The Bolide already feels like a terrible-handling 1970-1980's 1st gen mid-engine V12 from Italy, so slap a Countach-killer V12 in there, and who knows what to expect... It could go better, or worse.

The SBR4, even the modified Sunbursts, are already crazy powerful for their size/weight... The SBR4 in most versions is ridiculously quick already, a V12 would make it a freak, possibly interesting as the increased power can overload the AWD system and chassis...

If you decide to create a V12 engine, make sure you put it in a frame/body that makes sense... IRL nobody has shoved a Ferrari V12 into a Subaru frame, as far as I know... I'd rather see it in something like the "Auriga Heron 1927" emulating something like an old-school Cadillac V16.

Honestly, the K Series is probably the best single candidate... It's a stable full-size Touring Coupe, with a chassis just asking for a more powerful engine. It has a way of throwing it's weight around while still maintaining a stable line, and it's got a good heavy-duty transmission and powertrain. Every time I drive it, I just wish it had more power. So if you want my "two cents," shove that V12 into the K Series.

Ultimately, A V12 engine modification for ANY car would be greatly welcomed from me. I love the idea of dropping a high-torque, hyper-revving, heavy-duty plant into cars. Ideally, just model the engine as a part, and make it available for any vehicle, however, I'm sure this requires considerable effort, on part of the game Dev's possibly. But if you have to make it exclusive to just one vehicle, my vote is for the ETK K-Series.
