I Found an Ad! Is this supposed to happen?

Installed some Apps from Aptoide/similar? Those are mostly adware, I had the same with one App from there. Rather buy the Apps, they're not that expensive and you can get Gplay gift cards everywhere.

 

Oh OK I have Aptoide. I used it to download one app before.

 

Deinstall the app you got via Aptoide and it should be all good .

 

Apparently, this is not an malware app problem I think, I just got it, too.

No I didn't, I also never had the problem before, it just appeared now out of nowhere, without having installed any new Apps...wired. Apps did update recently though, maybe some developer added something to his App.

I've had this happen too, only once, a while ago. Can't remember if it was on android or PC.

Edit: Was able to recreate it on my tablet, will try my phone next, it hasn't been used for anything other than making calls and its 100% stock and clean.

 

I have Shazam, plague Inc, and codex reader causing ads

 

I've been able to recreate it on my phone too. Its definitely not a problem with my phone, I've never even installed an app on it and I use it purely for texts and calls, its even off for weeks at a time.

It seems the video host site is displaying ads on mobile devices. Try "request desktop site" and you will notice no ads load.

 

I basically got rid of every app that has the contains ads label in Google play. I still have the ad

 

So streamable is the issue.

 

Yeah to test it 100% I ran chrome desktop in mobile mode, the ad comes up right away. Definitely Streamable.

 

And in only appears in embedded videos, not YouTube videos. Only on mobile, too
