The HTC Vive is on sale, I can afford it, however I don't think my parents would be too pleased with that purchase so I won't bother. The Surface Pro 4 is on sale, it would make a really nice upgrade to my current Atom based tablet, I can afford it, however my parents would likely not be pleased with me spending £600 on a portable computer. I might be able to justify a new computer screen. However between 1440p, 120hz, G-Sync, Free-Sync, 4k and so on there is too much going on in that market to know whether it would even be worth it to upgrade at the moment. Especially with the possibility of VR getting cheaper/ higher res and making triple monitor work less well, not even all game support triple monitors well either, or G-sync etc. So I might not bother with a computer screen, since there is too much innovation going on in that space at the moment to be sure that it is a good investment. So I guess the things that I want or have a legitimate use for (surface pro 4) I am not sure I could get parent approval on since my parents currently dictate my income. But the Surface pro 4 would be really nice. However I will likely be getting a Ducky Shine 5 for my birthday in a couple weeks, so that will be awesome.
I just went to my local auto zone for some bulbs. The Black Friday crowd was so dense. There were four people in there, twice as many as the usual two person crowd.
Black Friday never interests me really. Usually a case of thing that was £900 now £850 and me just looking at it thinking "nice, i can't afford it slightly less now"
May have spent £200 today... £20 off a Moto G4 Plus on Black Friday - also HyperX Cloud II is only £59.99. Replacing my G3 for Christmas
The Investigatory powers act will be enforced in the UK by the end of the year, guess we're getting our own version of the NSA then...
The Logitech G920 with shifter is only $400 on Newegg. Fortunately/unfortunately, I'm not irresponsible enough to get it. So close, but so far
Hate to break it to you, but we have had that for quite a few years already. Its called GCHQ. --- Post updated --- In the UK it is only £160 ($200) including the shifter for both the g920 and g29 in Curries/PC world. £120 discount. This is ofc including the UK's 20% VAT (value added tax), so the base price would be £130 ($160) before tax. Although if you have the money I would 100% recommend getting the Thrustmaster T500RS instead. It is a far far better wheel and pedal set, however it does have the price tag to match.
The big selling point for me is Xbox One compatibility, otherwise I would probably just settle for a second-hand G25 or something. The G920 is the most affordable wheel which an H-shifter as far as I know that is both Xbox and PC compatible.
