YouTube videos and games are not comparable. Movies are shot at 23.98 FPS, I'm sure everyone here would agree that's unbearable for a game, yet it's fine for movies. This is because there's motion blur which masks the stuttering present with lower framerates - this motion blur is present in all videos including YouTube. I can't use my old PS3 because 30FPS is just intolerable after you've felt the responsiveness, clarity, and increased illusion of motion present in 60FPS content. Does it give me a headache? Not really. I was being hyperbolic, but it is hard on the eyes and genuinely impairs my enjoyment of the content. I'd say that at least part of the unresponsiveness was likely due to you using a TV rather than a computer monitor, when I hook my PC up to a TV I notice noticeable input lag on the TV screen but its much more responsive on a proper monitor. --- Post updated --- I accidentally tried doing that in real life... and accidentally drove on the left side of the road until I was yelled at about it and was told I drive like an Australian... that was before playing horizon 3 or even seeing much gameplay of it. I mean I like the FX but it kinda just looks like a normal truck from the 40's or 50's I prefer the sandman as most beautiful vehicle in horizon
Yes Opel is German and so is the Commodore that GMH redesigned to suit Australian conditions to sell as the Holden Commodore.. It's all on Wikipedia. To me the last real Holden was the WB which was the last car prior to the Commodore being released.
You do know that the VE (2006-2013) & VF (2013-2017) were completely designed from the ground up by Holden right?

Looks like tonnes of fun, but just one thing: leaves on trees? @HadACoolName please tell me if that's an Australian thing because I will never be able to unsee it otherwise And it would be neat if we could drive there from the main map without a loading screen like I said earlier, but I'm not keeping my hopes up. I don't see anywhere in the trailer that could be a connection point. Nope, it's accessed from the airport. Kind of what I expected.
You think leaves on the trees is bad? Why is there snow in Australia is the bigger question. We get a bit of snow on mountain tops during very cold winters, not snow that covers huge valleys & rolling hills like that.
I guess we can pretend it was a freak snowstorm or something. The whole thing is kind of infuriating to be honest. You can see Blizzard Mountain from the main map and vice versa, but they didn't connect them. I can only assume some grouchy old man in a suit who's never touched a video game in his life looked at a spreadsheet and told the devs they weren't allowed, which is what I hate the most about AAA games. I'll still get enjoyment out of it, but it could have been better. I get the impression it's just a glorified proof-of-concept for future Forza games. Maybe FH4 will be in Norway or something.
It's actually more because it creates a big problem for multiplayer. It's an open world game, so how do you have an area that you can drive to without a loading screen if you could end up playing with someone who doesn't have it? What happens if you're next to someone and you just see them drive off the map because they're going to an island you can't see? Etc.
