Why don't we all appreciate that we're getting a new vehicle instead of accusing it of not having an appropriate brand?

    Not really.
    Ever seen a Pontiac offroader?
    --- Post updated ---
No, because Gavril is based on Chevrolet, and Burnside is based on Buick.

A better option would be making a companion brand to Bruckell (that's based on Dodge)

Or just accepting that it's an Ibishu. While the specs are similar to the first Wrangler, they are also similar to Japanese offroaders of that era, and the styling is as much Jeep as it is Land Rover or Toyota.

    This thread, it be like:
    "It should be a Burnside!"
    "No, a Bruckell!"
"Uh uh, it should be a Soliad!"
"Drrrr, I want it to be a Civetta."
    "Bruckell!"
    "Hirochi!"
    "Soliad!"
    "Gavril!"
"Just let it be an Ibishu."
    "No!"
"It's not supposed to be an Ibishu!"

Sorry, but I just had to. My comedy sucks BTW. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can we all just let the poor Hopper be an Ibishu? I have no problem with it. I don't understand why everyone else has to make such a fuss about it.

Is the name "Hopper" possibly a reference to hopping curbs? ;)

Yeah, I mentioned hopping curbs because gabester has shown a strange interest over it in the past.

Japanese car manufacturers have some great off-roaders- Suzuki Samurai, Suzuki Jimny, Toyota fj40, Toyota Land-Cruiser, Mitsubishi Pajero (I still remember watching the Pajero team win the Dakar rally 2003 on TV... that was a good race), and the list goes on and on. I'm really glad the game has a Japanese off-roader, and don't really care if the rest of the community thinks it has identity issues. It's a hard-core off-roader, and that's all that matters for me.
Maybe one day the American companies in-game will get a third good off-roader too (asides from the Roamer and the D-series), but that's just not today.

On a different, yet related subject, I was wondering about how little design changes the true off-road jeeps went through, From the Jeep Wrangler, to Mercedes G-wagen and the Land-Rover Defender. Even the slightly "less capable" off-roaders (which are still incredibly capable, of course), like the Land Rover Discovery, the Suzuki Jimni, Toyota Land-Cruiser, etc, barely changed their shape over the years. The Hopper is probably a recent vehicle from about a decade ago, as many of you said. And yet, it's design looks like something from the fifties!
That's why I like jeeps so much. That's true "form over function". This jeep is not for show. It's got one purpose: getting you where ever you want to go, through mud, snow, rocks and dirt, slopes, drop-offs, river-crossings and deserts.

And on topic: WHen is de release DATE!!!!! 1??? But it lo0ks like a Wrangler WhY IS japaNESE? Gavril Burnside Bruckell GAVRIL!!!

That's the joke... But it's acutally not really funny.
The "on topic" here is really not "on topic" anymore...

Lol. Real life Pixel Car Racer.

OT- Just thanks, devs. Suggestion: 6-lug wheel hubs with 5-lugs as well. If it's unrealistic, what if I wanted to stuff a rotary engine in this thing like in the video?
    --- Post updated ---

EDIT- Why can't anyone accept that it's an Ibishu. It is what it is, it's super cool, it can be an offfroader or a city car, that's it.

Honestly I think it should be a Soliad because the Wendover is pretty typical of '90s FCA and the IRL Jeep is an FCA product. Also, we have a lot of Ibishus, and so far only 1 Soliad that isn't even in game.

The interior will be the final clarification for this car's time period.
I'm placing my bets on this being an early 80s vehicle, with very simple interior design, lots of exposed metal, thin spoke steering wheel and plenty of knobs and levers. Dashboard will be mostly metal.
