I was watching a video and it hit me, what this game really needs... interior mods. When someone has a 1000HP beastmobile and it still has stock seats, a stock steering wheel, a stock tach (that no longer covers the engine's full rev range), all the interior trim and paneling still in place... it just doesn't feel right. When you think about it, it's actually pretty embarrassing that Gran Turismo of all things beat them to this. And then I'm watching another video and I found out the street duels have a skimpily dressed woman to do the countdown. Just about made me want to cry because until I saw that I thought I'd finally found a new AAA title I'd be able to play with a clear conscience. They just had to, didn't they?
Man: Normal-dressed woman: Same woman: And again: Unless your idea of "skimpily dressed woman" is a guy in jeans or a woman wearing shorts and no sleeves then your argument makes no sense.
I really badly wanna see you play Need For Speed Underground 1/2. The loading screens alone must be real fun.
Unless the headlight pattern is washing out some material or I'm being fooled by a long, not-tucked-in shirt, those are still the shortest shorts ever. Get a time machine and you can have your wish. I wasn't always quite like this; I have played pretty much every Need for Speed from High Stakes to Rivals except for World, Nitro, and other non-main games. I still wonder to this day if all the "issues" with those games could be fixed with a little expert hackery.
Shorts in Australia? God forbid... EDIT: Let's give this argument some logic. Australia is a hot country, right? Horizon is a music festival in Australia, right? In that kind of situation in real life, people will be dancing, getting hot, and don't generally want to wear big or long clothing items because of the heat, right? Let's google "australia music festival" and see what we get... Oh, look: A picture of a woman in a party festival wearing short jean shorts just like the Forza screenshots of a woman in a party festival wearing short jean shorts. And as a matter of fact I had to scroll through a lot more results because in the initial ones people were either wearing swimsuits or even less. You're trying to find offense where there's none to be had. If you're ignoring one of the best racing games of all time because you think a woman showing their legs is offensive or is there just for eye candy (reminder: hot country, party festival, people get rather hot) then I don't think it's the developers that are in the wrong. In this case it's just sheer accuracy.
Just downloaded the game yesterday (60GB) to my gaming monster PC and its something amazing. Directx12 really comes out and you can see that Microsoft products on other Microsoft Products really take advantage of some improvements because the game loads quickly and just looks amazing. They are missing some BEAMNG softbodies... and maybe some more realistic damage when you get 60 feet of air or hit a try at 60mph and just keep driving. ;-) still I guess that's what the title is about. ;-)
Just wondering, whats everyones opinion of the game? Do things on the windows store(?) ever go on sale and how much DLC and micro transactions have been crammed in it so far Edit: and is there a PC equivilant to xbox live gold that I'd have to pay for for online No, those are still pretty common at least over here over half the women under 40 I know dress like that regularly, I'm not saying I don't judge them for it but I dont mind it in video games as its actually accurate
DLC is car pass, VIP pass, "treasure" map and expansion pass. All can be purchased separately or if purchased the ultimate edition comes with the VIP pass and car pass. You will still need to buy the expansion pass and treasure map separately if needed. You need XBL gold to play online, (although I read previously somewhere before the game was released that online would be "free". Dont quote me on it though. As I have never tried it myself.) I love the game it runs smoothly with 40-50 FPS at 1080P settings maxed with my 3770K and 380X.
Ehh, too much for me to bother with especially monthly payments on something I'll probably rarely use, it was enough that I'd end up having to pay well over 100 dollars for the full experience and having to setup everything for the windows store which I dont think I'd really use for any other games, just doesnt seem worth the time, effort, and money.
It seems to be that those extra barns are going to be used starting from this comming content update. I want the sunbeam Tiger to be included as one.
Its not a Charger but its still awesome hopefully the next pack comes with a Charger or a GTR XU1 Torana. More Australian legends the better.
Was thrilled to see a new barnfind was added, bit disappointed it wasn't Aussie. Still a cool car though (Spoiler Alert)
