Drove stick for the first time today. Didn't end well. I stalled my friends damn Pulsar every time I stopped it. Don't even get me started on the parking job... Still gives me Vietnam flashbacks

I work at a burger joint that we'll call CrazyBurger for purposes of me not getting fired if one of my bosses happens to take an interest in BeamNG.Drive.

Overwhelming majority of the time I'm a cashier. Ricer Boy can run a register but he's usually on the drive-thru, not front counter.

Temps have been dipping low enough I figured I'd treat myself to some hot cocoa; forgot how it tastes without peppermint schnapps... and I don't like it.

Did a 24 hour game jam this weekend. Made a version of Pong for the GameBoy Advance in less than 24kb fully compiled [math.h is the majority of that]. Also got to spend a good 15-20 mins playing with the HTC Vive as part of that event too. Tilt Brush, Robot Repair, Job Simulator, they are all absolutely awesome.

Yes, I do. Logistics & Supply Chain Management. Do I like it... eh, it has its moments, but it also has moments that make me rage so hard, my brain starts turning into lava.

Also. That moment. When someone hands you money. And it's wet. BLEEEUUUURRRRGH

Take it apart and clean it. You can't really mess it up any further.

Earlier I got a spork at a fast food place but had no need for it so I brought it home. I've been looking at it.
I noticed it has these two little fin things on the two innermost prongs. As far as I can tell, they exist to space the point of the prongs from whatever you're scooping off of, preventing you from stabbing into it if it's something soft like styrofoam or paper. They also give a smooth surface for the spork to slide on.

Man, what a time to be alive.

They will be to prevent them from snapping off. For example if you are trying to use it to eat ice cream those two prongs need to be able to support a large force. On a normal spoon this is not such a big problem because of the inherently strong convex/concave shape, however once you remove the bits where the gaps are (on the spork) the remaining sections are no longer supported by the convex shape and are likely to snap. Hence they added the supports underside to reinforce them.

Similar to how a flat sheet of paper is far more bendy than one folded into the shape of a paper plane chassis.
