Playing through the Driver Training campaign and I think there might be an issue with the countdown timer. Even on the first mission, Accelerating/Braking, I can't physically complete it fast enough. I'm using a GTX970, 24gb DDR3 RAM and an AMD FX-8320 3.5ghz CPU, Win10
I can confirm that the camera moves jerkly.. please fix this, it's so "annoying" Apart from this, it's a beautful update! I really enjoyed the campaign mode
The new differential code is part of a larger engine/transmission/drivetrain system which will totally replace the old drivetrain. We have to wait until the whole system is ready to release the differentials. Please be patient, it will be worth it
To fix MAP LOAD SCREEN , load beam up, goto the level browser (if it's not working, it'll be empty). Now close it out. If no maps show up under free roam, make sure you don't have GHOST'S MAP (not ghost's DESERT, that's fine), as Ghost's Map will break the level browser. Check documents\beamng.drive for the beamng text document file - that's the log, towards the bottom it should say why it crashed the level browser. Find the offending ZIP file or map DIR, and get rid of it, now re-load and enjoy. If it does not work, repeat (there could be another map breaking things, but I have a lot of mods and only had one).
So BeamNG has been in pre-alpha state until this update? I'd also like to mention that the intersection scenario (the one with the H series as the player vehicle) doesn't seem to spawn the opponent car for me? Thank you so much for yet another amazing update though, campaign mode is exhilarating, I can't wait to play through it again with a controller in two days!
when can you fix the problem with the steering wheel and pedals not being crushed with the car? (they stay in place always)
That's due to how they currently work. They are props, which aren't attached to the rest of the n/b structure. They are "attached" to the vehicle's origin, so they stay at the same coordinates on the vehicle's coordinate planes.
According to the game I was getting 13.5fps on high graphics. Lowered it all the way down and it got to 14.1. Can't see why my rig would be pulling such low figures
Yes Try safe mode PRIOR reporting stuff please! Half of the reports are caused by issues. It make us have to look at stuff for nothing Is your FPS under 20FPS. Below 20FPS you are no more running in realtime, breaking all the timers. 20FPS is the minimum needed to run scenarios/campaign. Ah see. Open a different thread please so we can see why it runs that bad on your end. Read first post.. The very first item in the Issue list.
