I'll try the cigarette lighter trick tomorrow. I hope the one in the Merc fits because the Focus' is missing. Maybe the light being on all the time is what it does if it can't detect a complete circuit to the OBD port...? Like a fall back procedure or something. My guess would be thermostat or a slightly messed up fan resistor... There are no leaks under the car after sitting over night. I've gotten under it and seen nothing wet either. Water pump is an interesting one to. Worn impellers? Only pumps enough coolant to keep the engine cool above 1000rpm maybe? I haven't lost any coolant after 3 days of driving so I'm not sure of the head gasket. I went through that with the Ranger. I noticed it pretty quick.
By the time the impellers have worn to that limited of use, your bleeder hole will have already began to leak, so that probably isn't it. As for the engine light, I don't believe that it will trigger when the fuse blows, but it would certainly stop the OBDII port from allowing a connection (assuming that it does indeed draw it's power that way).
so now we (my dad and i) figured out to exploit the buick 3800 v6 in my pontiac transport to get some more horses and torques out of it, but why you ask because this is origonally a muscle engine think of the buick regal grand national, Chevy monte carlo, buick skylark, oldsmobile omega and many others. this is the pontiac trans sport 1996
Today, I gave my Corvette a good wash. Then I took it to my campus and did a photo shoot with it, right after, I met up with three friends and we used it as a prop for an Indiegogo trailer that one of them is making. And tomorrow I'm going back to campus for a car meet!
I replaced the rear u-joint on my pickup. The truck was starting to get wobbly at highway speeds. The old u-joint was so worn out that one of the bearings had completely disintegrated and heated up enough that all the grease was gone. At least that's what I'm guessing happened because the rollers in the bearing were missing when I took it apart. Sadly I forgot to get pictures before I threw the old one away.
Bought an old friend back yesterday <3 My parents bought this 1995 Volvo 945 S 2.3 in 1997 when I was 1 year old. We then kept it to 2012 when dad decided to sell it...I found the owner and he was actually going to sell it, so I bought it! It is far from mint condition but it has a huge sentimental value for me.
Thursday, My Jeep got wrecked. Smoke started coming out of dash in my face, couldn't see where I was going, I tried to pull onto shoulder of road, and wound up down there... Aftermath: Luckily, I was able to walk away from the crash.
That's terrible ! Looked like quite a job to recover it from down there. Hopefully the damage can be fixed, if it's only the bodywork.
Yep, it took the recovery team took 45 minutes to get it out. I'm honestly thinking the frame might be bent, I know the engine fell down some, the rear driveshaft fell down some, muffler is hanging down, both front wheels bent, both front tires deflated.
You know at this point have you considered that maybe owning and operating a vehicle may not be for you? have you thought about walking or maybe a bicycle? :|
I question if you should even possess a license considering the alarming rate you seem to trash vehicles, where the fuck do you even pay for these from? That and any amount of smoke to come through the dash would have been startlingly obvious far before it got bad enough that you cant see (having been in vehicle fires before). Nah, combined with how the truck got wrecked and with what remained of the abarth, more likely you dont pay attention when driving and wrecked yourself. Even if hypothetically it was that thick. Steering off a cliff? Jeesus christ. Did you learn nothing in drivers ed?
And what makes you think he'd have any better luck not going off of cliffs and crashing into guard rails while walking or on a bike
You walked away. I had a 1985 Toyota Cressida wagon burn to the ground on me. Smoke started coming thru the dash and I pulled over. 3 minutes later I watched the car "explode" as the tires burst. It was gta as hell.
there goes daddy's money in the toilet and where's is the smoke i mean do you even know what caused the smoke, i assume somebody (you) cant drive for shit because new car like after 2010 don't smoke all the sudden when driving on the highway because safety precausions and its a four cylinder so that doesn't shouldn't create a lot of heat .
