All my mods wiped and now not working

So I've been playing BeamNG for about 2 weeks or so so I'm not very skilled at all the technical stuff: I need to ask you a question. I have installed quite a few mods, I think I had 27 when for some reason they just all got wiped. It's fine because I can just re-install the mods, but now the green install button isn't working. I don't want to download the file manually because last time I did my game went seriously glitchy and then I had to reinstall the whole game and all its content. Please help!!

 

Did you at all press the "Clear Cache" or "Safe Mode" buttons on the launcher?

 

No, I didn't do that, it just wiped everything for no reason that I can understand.

 

Did you have them placed in Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods ?

 

Check your in game mod manager, is it empty?

 

No, I actually haven't, I didn't know such a folder existed. I'll have another look.

The green install button has been disabled on the repo for a while since the devs are moving contend to different HDDs or something. It will return though .

Idk, I don't think long though. If you put the downloaded mods in the correct folder (documents/beamng.drive/mods) it shouldn't mess up your game though.
