Is there any way to do it? I´d like to know it before doing the map As I´m very unexperienced, Is it Difficult? Should I Just Use the In-Game editor? Cheers and thanks before all
Hey sorry for the late reply. What exactly would you like to achieve. Do you want to create the actual terrain in sketchup and export it? Or is it about all the static objects?!
If time doesn't matter, I'm going to try to answer this now It could be possible to create an heightmap from sketchup with this tutorial that I found with a quick google search ( I've never done it, so the results aren't guarantied ), and then import the heightmap into your terrain ( you can follow this tutorial, and here is a post on how to fix the probable heightmap import failed message that you're going to have ) You could also export your sketchup object as a static object, but you might experience serious performances issues this way But really if you're going to make the terrain from scratch I think it would be way easier to do it with the in-game editor, the tools are quite intuitive and learning the world editor is going to be faster than learning from all the resources I gave to you i think
