Just started testing out Prisma on my phone. With a bit of Photoshop, you can make some quite convincing posters.
Ironically America and its hat haven't adopted Mustangs as their cars, most use Ford Interceptors (based on V6 Taurus) in the metropolitan areas and some Dodge Chargers elsewhere. There are some Crown Victorias still in service too.
In my area, everyone is using the Dodge Charger, with a few Crown Vic's making their way to schools (for student resource officers) and other minor things.
Im all for getting a good deal, but I got these today and I am slightly concerned. They are still well within date too... Well, they look fine, are completely undamaged and taste normal. Weird
I saw one of those videos that has a certain appeal to me. I like watching someone troll another person who's impatient and getting increasingly irate. I'm totally the sort who would do exactly what the pickup was doing in that situation... because I do. Although not to that extent, if someone's up my arse I suddenly become anal retentive, extremely careful and the definition of a sunday driver. Long, smooth braking distances and selectively poor acceleration. Does the job without me matching speed with a truck for a few miles. I found this whole thing to be a bit of a giggle.
Yeah, if someone tailgates you just ensure you have a massive braking distance in front of you. That way you don't need to brake suddenly causing an incident and you also get a little satisfaction in the process.
How about if someone tailgates you, stop being a self-righteous troll and MOVE? Seriously, I'm getting sick of people who steadfastly refuse to get the hint and go faster. Every time I go to work, I get stuck behind someone who thinks the speed limit is 51 MPH, refuses to go faster even if I lay on the horn for 10 straight seconds, gets me stuck at every fricking red light so even more dawdlers can get in front of us, I can almost hear the Official Tardiness Warrior (who is always working up front during morning shifts, of course) getting ready to write me up for being late again and nothing I can do seems to convey the message I'm trying to send. The people who do it on purpose, what do they even think they're accomplishing, other than getting a fleeting moment of malicious satisfaction?
You are making a lot of assumptions there don't you think? There are people who tailgate in heavy traffic. I couldn't give a flying proverbial whether they want to bully other traffic out of the way when both lanes are moving slow because of traffic, they can wait, just like everyone else. There are people who tailgate when I am doing the limit. If I am doing 60mph down a country lane, especially one I am not familiar with, I ain't going faster than that. If I need to brake harshly they will go directly into the back of me, so I will leave extra distance in front of me in order to allow me to reduce speed slower. Blasting the horn for 10 seconds is an asshole move, regardless of whether you think you are in the right or not. Just for reference this is one of the questions that is often on the UK driving theory exam. The UK theory exam also has a question about leaving plenty of time for your journey. Perhaps you should stop blaming others when you are late and commence on your journey at a more sensible time (ofc major things do happen sometimes that you can't plan for)
You're a prick of a driver. If the speed limit is there and I'm doing it you can jam your throttle body up your rear if you think any of the above you mentioned is ok. You're going to be stuck at a red light anyway, and have you considered leaving earlier so you don't always have to blaze though traffic to get there on time?
Where I live in Canada, you must increase your following distance by one (1) car length for every 10 km/h (6 mph), as tailgating is considered a traffic violation. The HTA says this about following too closely (AKA Tailgating): "The driver of a motor vehicle or street car shall not follow another vehicle or street car more closely than is reasonable and prudent having due regard for the speed of the vehicle and the traffic on and the conditions of the highway." Following too closely carries these five (5) penalties: Fine of $110-$500. 4 Demerit points. 30 Day license suspension for G1, G2, and M1 and M2 drivers.
