I decided to convert Ebisu from rFactor and this was the end result. Video: Real life video: Credits: Dkutch - Helping me convert when I would hit a bump in the road, also placing the vegetation (Massive thanks goes to him) SmakzZ - The original Ebisu mesh LJFHutch - For his amazing vegetation Yotaak - Conversion How to get it working? 1. Download the zip 2. Open the zip 3. Place the folder in BeamNG > BeamNG-DRIVE-0.3 > levels 4. Play FAQ: Q: Does it work with AMD cards? A: Yes! Q: Did you make the meshes? A: Did you read the first sentence? Or, look at the credits? Q: Does it come with free pudding? A: No :'( Q: Is it FPS friendly? A: Very friendly compared to other maps. Do not upload to any other website. This download stays on BeamNG. Now all we need is proper drift car. Another Ebisu track you might like : Ebisu-Touge
Re: Ebisu Manimi But I think the legendary Bump to drift over is much bigger in reallife: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFPgG45lEDE Its not bumpy enough
Re: Ebisu Manimi Trust me, the bump is near perfect. Its just hard to get speed to actually hit the bump with. Also look at his car, hes in a 700+ horse power vechicle that has been weight reduced and has an areo kit (spoiler / body kit). It also has highly modified suspention, if the sespention was soft (like the grand marshal) it would just drive over it without getting any air. I assume your saying this because you tried to do a bump drift in a 6000lbs, (i actually have no idea what it weighs) body over frame, opened diff, grand marshal.
Re: Ebisu Manimi oh my, i did not expect it to work on my amd. well done! i shall start using it in videos shortly
Re: Ebisu Manimi Yes, agreed. Love the track, Thank you! Obviously its not common for the cars to catch air like that or they (the commentators) wouldn't have been so excited about it... Ignore the haters, there's plenty of jumps in other tracks, Thank you for your quality track and your time!
Re: Ebisu Manimi I have some good news - It seems to work fine here (HD7970), no broken textures, like at that Nardo map. Little offtopic here, but to be honest, it's pretty suprising to me, that we have so many unnoficial maps already, compared to a number of released cars. I know, that making a working car model for this game is much harder than in most other titles, but still... It's so far the only moddable racing game I know of, that have proportion of mods like that. Usually cars are released earlier, at least I think that's the case.
Re: Ebisu Manimi Thanks for your input! Maps are much easier to learn then cars. For cars you need to learn to 3d model, texture, and make a realistic n/b with no bugs. While maps are just tools, (and in some cases meshes like Ebisu). Rolled mah bmw
Re: Ebisu Manimi okay It maybe just looked like that. Did not got the time to test it. So sorry for that. Today I will give it a try! Greets Spjs9
Re: Ebisu Manimi Thanks for this track, it's good fun. The Moonhawk with LSD is pretty driftable, but could do with a lot more power
Re: Ebisu Manimi Yeah, I can't wait until an actual drift car comes out. Like an s13 or something. Its going to be much easier to enjoy the track.
