We'll see what it looks like when it's unveiled to the public, but to me it kinda looks like a slightly less cheap Chevy Aveo

Why? Because Volkswagen owners are some of the most tasteless modders I've ever seen, 90% of them are stancebros. As a VW Dealership Mechanic, I see countless cars that look like the owner is blind when they modded it.

Why let what car you own prevent you from having fun messing with it (even if the result is rather ugly imo). If it is actually fast though I would love to see it destroying other cars at a track.

Like, keeping the whole exterior and interior untouched, while beefing up performance?

Same here. The idea of a car that looks slow but is actually fast just intrigues me.

Yeah, that is generally what I tend to prefer, however I think (non excessive) lowering is fine on a car that is staying as factory looking.

I think it is very much possible to have an awesome looking car with after market cosmetic parts, but most cars that do use them look not so great. However I do get a good laugh when you can hear the subwoofer rattling the body panels on a riced car.

Rims I can get behind, if tasteful. Minor lowering is fine, slamming is not

    What about bags and hydros?
At least you can bring the car back to it's stock hight.

Nope, I find slammed hideous and pointless therefore no interest in bags or hydro which still deteriorate performance versus stock coils at stock ride heights

I don't think you'd care about performance if you have an old boat...

But but that your preference anyway..

He didn't mean actual performance as in sportiness, he meant how well the stock suspension performs vs bags/hydros

ride quality on bags is worse than stock springs and that's something I'd care about cruising in a boat

Is paying $225 ($25 more than my car cost) to autocross at Lime Rock worth it?
