You should make one that is entirely a joke that intentionally has little effort put into it, like hover dry van, or hover tire wall
Ovo 11: High tech, easy to drive, but boring and never breaks Hoverside: Derpy and hard(but fun) to drive It's about time we had something that hovers AND crashes. Maybe you could make one that's a LITTLE bit easier to drive? Either that, or one that has wings/rudders. I've also noticed that all of them have a tendency to tilt left. Who's up for a Delorean?
It does have wings and rudders keeping it stable a bit. I'd also like it to handle better, it's still WIP.
I have a guide on how to drive! To prevent flipping stabilize with: Move left and Move right. To turn, left and right. If turning any direction, e.g, turn left, you have to use a bit of move left to support turning. Once straight use a slight bit of boost or acceleration and then raise for going above bumps. Fantastic mod dude!
Heya! I've tried attaching the big chain to the Hoverside and it falls through the vehicle. Is this because of the "magic" you use to make it float? I also tried attaching it to the tow hitch, but the tow hitch isn't "active" or whatever - Pressing "L" does not give me an attach point. Thanks for any insight/help.
FWIW, I made a video to see just how FAST we could get it to when revved up! (Note: At one point, I actually hit 1334 or so, but the game wigged out and crashed)
It was still using the old towhitch system without couplers, thats all. I've added a never version of the car to this message, it also has a slightly improved handling and the wired pedals are temporally removed. Maybe Next will be the bolide, or the pigeon. I've seen it already . Giving it even more boost wasn't making it faster, for some reason limits are hit around 1000mph.
Bernd updated Hoverside *Hovercar* with a new update entry: Unchained! Read the rest of this update entry...
It really bothers me how it feels every bump when driven. I am aware you can't do anything about it because of the design... Hmmm maybe instead of 4 nodes underneath it you could add more, so it could behave somewhat like a tank? The hovercar should glide over any obstacles and this one kinda doesn't. BTW what's the progress on adding gyroscopes?
Is it actually possible to connect two hovercars with the chain? Also, putting a trailer behind it might be fun .
I'm guessing it's that new chain mod, http://www.beamng.com/resources/torsions-vehicle-to-vehicle-couplers.1216/ I haven't had time to test how well they work together.
