sorry for off-topic, but ummm, WTH IS WRONG WITH YOU NAKANO?????? your specs are EXTREMELY bottlenecked, in fact, how you didnt blue-screen by trying to put those specs together is beyond me, a 266mhz or no pentium, with 2 gtx titans in sli? im sorry, but that shouldnt even work. on-topic: the original file idea should be fine :/

We'd like to do something open world with persistent vehicle ownership. So you'd buy some used car or truck, fix it up, upgrade it, and enter it in procedurally generated events, ranging from races to demo derbies to delivery missions to whatever other kind of stuff you can do with vehicles, to make money or win prizes. We haven't worked out any specifics but that's the gist of it.
hmm...where would initial money come from? like what if you wrecked all your cars and were out of money =P how would you make money back? Like, win some races or derbys? but with what cars, free ones? or something, like sponsors giving you vehicles to race for them, idk. now im thinking like GRID lol...nvm =P
I think I read something about there being a really crappy car which you can buy for free if you are out of money.
What if we just had a sponsor to please by winning an initial race with a car provided by them. Then they would support us and we would earn money from them AND race prizes. You could use sponsors like NOMI or Alder or even the car companies like Hirochi or Gavril themselves
This idea is amazing. There should be a special separate website called... Krehgslist Where you buy the cars from. Oh my god I just had an even better idea. When you buy cars new, you could buy them of the "Company" website. So glad of thought of this now and not later so I didn't have to edit this.
Similar to Grand Turismo 5, there should be a used car dealership, which simply entails a list of used cars, with the name, specs, and color of the car listed. As well, there should also be a new dealership, which would have a screen to choose which 'dealership' (car make) you want to buy from, then each dealership would have all the cars from that make listed, then upon selecting a car, you get taken to a screen where you select the 'trim package' or 'configuration' or whatever, then after that, the color selection screen where you can pick from pre-defined colors. as for verification, there are only a few things that have to be checked, total weight, drag coef, torque, gearbox, revlimiter, its not that many, or if any other ways of modification happens then u can set it to periodically download a file from a server and have the game check that they are the same, good idea tho
