First things first. The ESC calibration is brilliant on BeamNG ! but I would like to see some little features to make it a little more realistic. when ESC is activated the brake lights should come on . when ABS is activated the brake lights should flicker. This M5 is in M dynamic mode which allows a lot of over steer before kicking in. As the car regains its lateral stability the car predicts it and will already use ESC so it doesn't fishtail and spin out. Also abs should be activ from 4-7 km/h so its easier to burnout just my suggestions.
What exactly makes you think that the ESC is even on in that video (be it sport mode or not)? I have never seen an ESC turning on brake lights, any videos of that happening? As for adaptive brake lights (the flickering as you call it), might be a funny feature, but probably not worth the effort, in real life these systems are actually surprisingly complex (it's not just "when ABS is activated" )
brake lights only flicker because the there on video...led's do that on camera only.. the actual bulb doesn't flicker to the naked eye
Adaptive brake lights on BMWs do actually flicker in real life under certain circumstances. I doubt that would apply to the video in the OP though
He could be doing some left foot braking... But I know that it can be coded into the DSC unit. (it even does this for HDC and adaptive cruiscontrol) Because the McLaren cars dont have a fancy differential they use the ESC/DSC module to pulse the brakes wich makes it act like an EDL . while its pulsing the brakes it will light up its brake lights. 24min 10 seconds
that's a drift feature that is for cinematic drifting. its should be in the game, looks very cool --- Post updated --- the headlights do it too
