So I figured the exhaust combustion issue was something wrong on my end after a bit of testing. But still no fix for it (Look on page 2 for my first post where I was panicking over it.) I will be making a thread about that issue later. Anyway; Now I noticed a few things. For one, Why did you remove the hotkey shortcut to access photo mode? I feel like that and most of the key changes were slightly pointless. Again, just personal preference, maybe someone loves this Second, I can't turn off Anti-aliasing and have it save. I need to be able to turn it off since I am using a fairly low end GPU (MSI r9 270x) and turning it off increases my framerate by several frames. Please fix this.
mudflaps getting stuck in the trucks tire again i though you removed collisions from them for a good reason no clue why you brought it back
I think the sunburst and the pessima hill climb version overheats too fast while driving for a solid minute.
I think think the same as @Driv3r1142. Quitting the camera shortcut is a disadvantage. Remember key bindings for each function is a bit difficult, but I'm sure that would be fixed in next update. Cheers
However in order to control the trailer commands you have to tab into the trailer. which can be hard with multiple vehicles. The trailer also ruins the fun of hauling a car since the trailer also uses one core that why i like the config style trailer.
Whoa, didn't notice that when I crashed it in to a '88 Pessima! Found a bug though: the "vehicles" folder is broken: http://img.imgland.net/IjrhojA.png These+my HX Turbodiesel config don't load at all.
The model years are still in the vehicle's "info.json". 1985 - 1989 for original models, 1990 - 1993 for facelift models. EDIT: Oops! I almost forgot, this is a really good update, no complaints so far.
Wow, this was one long wait. But seriously, this has got to be one of the best updates, if not the best update so far. You guys really outdid yourselves. Love the new ETK I-Series and the ambulance. I really liked how the stretcher actually moves around in the ambulance while you drive it. Also the garage feature is awesome.
ive found a slight problem with the new ETK i series..... well its not REALLY a problem but the exhaust muffler roughly in the middle of the car seems to hang a bit too low, and it catches on average sized bumps very easily such as speedhumps and small obstacles.... where other cars of the same ground clearance dont (such as the sunburst, pessima, etc) it also affects the breakover angle of the car quite heavily too.... would it be possible to tuck the exhaust in a bit higher on the next update?
Great update, keep up the amazing work! Here are just few bugs I found so far today. BUG #1 - ETK I - EXHAUST AND TOW HITCH The wide and double exhaust are clipping trhu the tow hitch, the normal exhaust is close but okay. DOUBLE WIDE NORMAL IS OKAY BUG #2 - ETK I - HANDBRAKE When you pull up the handbrake, it moves the whole thing including cover. (shown below) BUG #3 - MOONHAWK INDICATOR I noticed that when you turn the lights on in the detective moonhawk, right indicator will light up with it. (signals turned off) After further testing, I found out that the problem is created by the red beacon, if you remove it, dash lights up fine. DETECTIVE VERSION BEACON ON RANDOM MOONHAWK - SAME PROBLEM BUG #4 - BACK OF THE AMBULANCE If you crash the ambulance hard enough, parts of the back will dissapear. Also as you can see on this picture in the window of the ambulance, the moonhawk is black, but its infact white. I havent been able to reproduce this bug multiple times, so it was probably random reflection issue. BUG #5 - NO REAR LICENCE PLATE ON AMBULACE This one is quite minor, but I haven't seen real life ambulance without plate, so I thought I would mention it too. Nice update but can you please add the normal police/light bar to the ETK800 without the german letters? Feel like you should be able to choose from different light bars
I love the new trailer, specially the underride guards it might be a little bit more grabby than the previous one in the boxed van a T series, but that might just be because this one is easier to bend. Actually I would love to see that same guard or something similar implemented in the van and boxed T series. And it is almost impossible to put the new ETK on the roll over sled at low speed without ripping the exhausts. Also, I find the car a bit too safe for being a 1980's car. 6:55 Spoiler
For me, Ctrl r works automatically Also, the rear bumper of the I series needs some work as has been posted already by acrain7 And the ambulance box can be quite glitchy (but its immense fun watching the stretcher fly out while dropping the ambulance of a cliff in Utah)
I found that the rollover sled is broken since this update. it doesn't pawn right and doesn't come back. I did try in safe mode but no luck.
I found out some of the preview pics for cars are outdated like the sunburst race shows old spoiler and hood but now its carbon wing and hood.
The one with the holes in the ambulance has to do with how BeamNG simulates its crashes. In order to mimic broken pieces, the game simply remove polygons and their respective jbeam nodes from the model. The devs stated this is a quick'n'dirty method until they can work on something better.
