Hello, Well as you can see and tell I was working on a new for the last couple of weeks.. Well not quiet,, Due to the fact Sornovy wasnt the greatest of map, I decided to make another one.. Well here you have it Fair Monté So what we have here is another Half-abandoned Island group somewhere in Europe.. I know the house style is not fitting at all, but let that just be imagination.. well.. We have a lot of industrial area, we have a large city, an island that got wasted in a massive storm.. etc.. So yeah. It was nice to work on it, not the best but it was good experience for me.. Bug reports: -Okay-esk FPS on rain version -Some lightning issues In the future: -Custom numberplates ###ON REQUEST STUFF###
That looks really nice. The vegetation in the fourth picture could be more, but aside from that it's really nice.
What is the bug? Maybe someone can help. Looks good and I thought Sornovy was a great idea. Keep on truckin'.
The bug is following: the map refuses to save my default player spawn sphere.. Which means my car always spawns under water.. And yes I moved it like 20 times by now and tried to change the position in the.mis files of the map.. I can send it to you later, maybe you can find Smth out but yeah.. As said. It seems unfixable.. Due to the fact Noone ever had that bug before
Near everyone has had that bug before. The solution is to put the spawn sphere into a sim group. That is to say, go to the scene outliner and create a folder, then put your spawn sphere into that folder. The spawn sphere's position should then save with the rest of the map.
Thanks for the tip Occam. I've always just reused spawn spheres because it works and your description explains why.
That's weird.. There is no spawn sphere in my scene tree. I can select it but neither see it there or delete it.. Weird.. So I can't put it in the Sim group folder
OK.. Yay I finally fixed it.. Just had to copy everything from official map.. Still thx for all you help ^^
I had so many problems getting new spawn spheres to work I just gave up. Been gutting out official maps ever since without a hint of a problem.
Idk if it was the thing that made it work or not, but in the SpawnSphere "inspector" menu you have to go to DynamicFields and Type enabled 1 ,, maybe thats why it didnt work.. Also you dont use any Datablock or spawnclasses
