Looking even better! Big thumbs up! One thing I would like is the ability for AI to drive the track so I can have big pileups... visually, it's looking lovely.
I think you should add jumps that just destroy your car. Also an interesting spawn place. (If not done enough.)
Daily update: Just a short preview how the tunnel entrance will look like. It's heavy work in progress and the textures are not final yet. Ingame pics will follow as soon as I did all the texturework! Let me know what you think!
Finally...it's ingame! Lot's of work to do! PS: Don't know if you can see it...but vegetation is also work in progress!
Just a (very) small update. The last two days I had not much time for my map, because my girlfriend wanted some time with me I started to create the lamps for the tunnel...also some texturework is done. The reflection map is standard...I'll create my own the next few days. Let me know what you think!
I like it, very much... and personally, there are plenty of maps that do just the jump, I much prefer having something else to do!
Yes...it needs a tunnel! I want something different. Not just a jump. It should be a realistic "unrealistic"-map. Lot's of things to explore or discover...maybe some hidden easter-eggs You'll see when it's finished
I like it too! And some few more things isn't so bad. Just asking is this really necessary? Nice to read it!)
I'm still alive. The last few days I tried to created some stairs...so that the spectators can reach the ramp...or...that you can test your suspensions I had some really bad FPS drops after I brought the stairs ingame. Then I tried to split them into different pieces. The FPS went better...but not as good as I expected. Lot's of work to do...
FPS is quite good now, after splitting the stair into parts, and create LODs and collision meshes. I also reduced the texture-resolution for the LOD-meshes and removed normal/specular-mapping. The framerate is back at 60 FPS, with a short drop to 55 FPS when you are near the stairs. But I am still working on it! ...oh...and there is a railing Feedback please!
Like... When you get to the bottom, you go on the roads. There's a path that turns beside the stairs. You drive up that road to get back to the top and you can do the jump again. Also, another suggestion, for decoration, you should make a stand that has engine parts and stuff if you broke your engine parts. (My grammar tho)
