There are literally four hoses at the rear of the motor, the ones that commonly kill themselves are turbo feed and heater. Don't touch the valve cover or head. Remove starter motor, support the gearbox at the tail end and undo the crossmember to give yourself more space. Would recommend removing plenum and replacing all hoses with silicone as the car is getting quite old. Anyway, moar lows: And mystery machine (not really):
Nothing I did to my car but rather something that happened to my car. A quite big hailstorm passed last Thursday and left my car's bonnet and roof dented quite a bit. And because the car wasn't worth a lot to begin with it also doesn't have full coverage so insurance won't pay to fix it. And the picture doesn't even come close to showing all the dents
My dad got the Olds Delmont 88 in the shop to put on the lowering springs. His friend(And owner of the shop) loaned us an awesome car-Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 Ram Air. Really fun to ride in
I always keep an eye on what it's doing outside and prepare to move my car in when a storm is moving through. Hail damage terrifies me.
We have three cars and only one spot in the garage, sadly. Although we actually didn't have any of them in the garage as according to this weather radar app thingy the "rain" (we didn't know it'd be hail either) would miss us and once it started to rain and hail it immediately was quite a lot. The other two cars are insured better though so they get repaired, mine sadly most likely won't.
A large tree will also do. You run the risk if the tree itself falling on the car though. I'd put my mattress on top of my car before I'd sit there and watch it get hailed on.
Meh. It's always easy to say what you'd do when it doesn't actually happen. When it does happen unexpectedly it's already too late. There were no houses where I could park my car anyways, but either way I'm not going to break in anywhere to save my ~€700 car. A tree might have been able to help, but I already was parked only like 5 to 10 meters away from one. Maybe it would've helped if I parked just a bit closer, but I didn't. I actually try to avoid that tree as it guarantees the car will be covered in bird shit in less than a day.
Agh. Shoved my new condenser in and got it all hooked up, held a vacuum fine, then put in some oil and refrigerant. My compressor refuses to kick on. It worked fine before and I can turn it by hand and everything. Just wont turn on. I tried bypassing the pressure switch and nada.
My dad got new Fuel rims to replace his American Racing rims because they were pitting all over the place.
Pushed my mom's SUV down the hill I call my drveway in neutral because it wouldn't turn. It turned after I reached the street though.
