Also jeeps. God there are so many. Especially the 2nd week of June for the Bantam Jeep Fest. My town has it every year. Thousands of jeeps.
Fiat Croma, Fiat Seicento, Alfa Romeo 166, Lancia Lybra, Lancia Musa, Lancia Ypsilon, Fiat Bravo, Alfa Romeo GT, Fiat 126, Fiat 127, Lancia Delta Integrale, Maserati Ghibli, Fiat Freemont, Fiat Cinquecento, Voitures Sans Permis, How many of these do you commonly see on the road?
The further west you go, the more common they get. I saw Skylines every once in a while when I lived on the mainland (I'm technically on the mainland now, but you still need to take a ferry to leave. Fjords, man.) but the market here calls for high ground clearance and AWD, hence the Hiluxes and AWD kei trucks. They're just so much cheaper to buy and run as company vehicles than an F-150 or Silverado and are much more suited to the environment. Many of the roads here other than the main highway are narrow and either badly maintained or unpaved altogether, so you need something small and versatile if you do house calls. There are a lot of full-scale dealerships in Vancouver that sell fresh-of-the-boat cars from Japan and will even do full servicing and warranties, so owning something JDM isn't really any different. Most will even import a car upon request and do all the paperwork for you. Want a Skyline? Give them a budget and one will be on it's way before you know it. Can you tell I get excited by JDM?
When i was in Berlin i saw lots of Volvo 240s Wagon, not the rarest car, but i was amazed by the number of them, i also saw a Benz-Patent-Motorwagen, so my vacation was fully paid
Not really my area here but in district 7 in my city, JDM and exotics are frequently seen. I usually see GTR, Silvia S15, 240SX, Porsche 911 Caerra, Ferrari F430, Lambrogini Garllado, Lambrogini Huracan, Ferrari California, Rolls Royce Phantom, Subaru Emprezia (models ranging from 1998 model year to 2010). The reason why is probably because that area is the place where the richest people live. Going there to look at the cars is like my hobby
Well somebody who lives about 300 meters from my house drives a white Maserati Gran Turismo, and some time ago I've seen a Bentley Continental although I don't think that guy lives very nearby. Also, quite a lot of Porsches and Tesla Model S' in the surrounding like 20km, with a bit of luck you can see two of them at a time. Nothing too spectacular though, it's not like I live in the center of Cologne or Berlin.
Offtopic: Ford Crown Victoria is rare in my country. There's only 1 person own it according to what i know, maybe due to tax problems On topic: In district 1 and 2 of my city, I saw at least 5 different BMW I8. Down Binh Duong province of my country, Range Rovers and Cadillac Escalade are really popular upon rich people. If you go to Ha Noi, Citroen 2CV, VW bug, Citroen DS are some of the most common classics
There are a sh**load of them here in Australia. On the way to my high school in the morning i see atleast 2 and its only about a 15 minute drive
Most cars around here are either German, Bmws(seen a few m4s) Mercedes, or Audi.. There's the hot hatches, fiesta ST, corsas etc. Recently I've oddly seen a lot of rare cars. Two Mitsubishi FTOS parked in the same place, a 2016 mustang white Corvette and a few MR2's. (All down the same road)
