That shot is also one of the ones that has me most excited, the other being the cityscape one. The main reason being that FH1 and FH2 never had any really long cruising/speed roads, the outback seems to be the perfect setting for that now.

I am going to preorder (and possibly throw tons of money at) this game ASAP! I shat myself when I watched the trailer. Xbox One cause this comp would melt if I tried this game lol.

I'm super excited about the city too. It's something that hasn't yet been done to this extent in a Horizon game. Nice was good, but Horizon has always had a problem with weirdly (a.k.a. badly) designed roads and AI that doesn't know how to drive on them. As someone who likes to cruise around at the speed limit, I really hope they improve on this.

And did I mention the Ultimate Edition comes out the day before my birthday? :D

Here's hoping there will actually be wildlife this time around. The FH1 trailer showed deer on the road, but that turned out to be one short cutscene in the game, with animals not actually appearing while driving around.

We've already seen kangaroos in the trailer and some kind of cat thing in one of the screenshots:

I know, I mean that seeing it in a trailer doesn't mean there will for sure be animals running (and/or hopping) around in free roam. The deer in the FH1 trailer were just in a cutscene, these could be too. The kangaroos in particular look like they could be part of the game's intro, though the cat on the tree looks more in-game. Trust me, I really want animals too, I was just disappointed by the lack of deer in FH1 after seeing the trailer and don't want to get my hopes up again.

I've said the only thing that will make me get W10 is FH3, and here it is in all its glory. Forza Horizon 3 available on PC. Windows 10, with all your faults and Flaws, here I come.

Watching the trailer really reminded me of the reveal trailer for The Crew. God I need this game.

On a side note, would it be possible to install windows 10 on a separate drive, and switch back and forth between 8 and 10?

Sorry for stealing your post. And everything you just said there, I totally and absolutely am over the moon about. I cannot wait for an auction house! And I can now make a Stiggy111 licence plate, so everyone from the forums knows who I am. By the way, on XBox I am CasioBlock.

Me as well. Being American, I would want to experience a great and powerful Ford Falcon, or just a neat Holden Ute. I quite like the cars in the land down under.:)

Leaked gameplay, including almost the entire map:

I'll be honest, it looks a little smaller than I expected, but I probably just need to see it in person. It certainly isn't bad :D

EDIT: Upon a second viewing, I actually take back what I said. It's looks way bigger than what I got from my first impression.

^That map actually looks really, really huge. The city alone is like the size of all Horizon 2's cities (not the space between them) combined, AND there's the little town at Byron Bay which looks big.

What looks perfect is that there's a huge, long, straight road that runs right into the Outback area which is exactly what I expected/wanted.
    Hyped.

Just to be pessimistic for a minute, there's one problem with Australia that I know won't have been accounted for:

It's a left-driving country and the vast majority of Forza's cars are LHD/USDM and so on. Only the Japanese and British (and possibly some Aussie if they aren't US-ized) cars will properly be suited to the roads in the game.

Buuut that's just me nitpicking. If the worst thing I can say about a game is that the cars are the wrong hand drive for the setting then it's a good game.

If they are smart, they will RHD-atize the yank tanks & Autobahn thrashers.

The map is a lot bigger than I expected. I also noticed a highway/motorway that stretches right across the map in the center. That'll be perfect for top-speed runs.

In the end it really won't make too much of a difference to me because I mainly play chase cam on arcadey games, was just pointing it out.

Also, not sure if anybody noticed, but drivers, licence plates, and horns are customisable now.

The area where I live (British Columbia's Sunshine Coast) has an unusually high number of RHD cars imported from Japan, meaning a mix of right- and left-hand drive operating on the same roads. While the number of LHD cars may not be entirely realistic for Australia, it won't be cause for concern. Russia, the Bahamas, Virgin Islands, my little part of Canada (admittedly to a lesser extent), and more all make do with either a mix of steering positions or have almost all vehicles of the opposite steering than what would be expected.

To go off-topic for a sec, I just want say how awesome it is living here in regards to said imports. It's really cool to have such unique vehicles that the rest of the country (and indeed most of North America) doesn't see very often. RHD's still only make up a small percentage of the cars on the road, but the fact that you see loads in a day as opposed to one every 2-3 months is pretty cool. So yeah, can you tell I like Japanese cars? I also just moved here a few months ago so I'm a little giddy still :p
