I was chatting with my friend TheRustyRagdoll, and I had an idea; what if in the game, there was a dyno for reading the car's power and torque? I'm no good at modding at all (it makes me feel instantly overwhelmed and confused), so if someone out there who is far more talented than me wants to take this idea and make a mod out of it, please do! Just give me a shout out for the idea The following is all me typing as I think of this, because my thoughts get all jumbled up, but they're all there lol It could be a selectable prop, like the car cannon and boulders and all that fun stuff underneath the vehicles. Perhaps, it could have some sort of ramp you drive up, like the rollover sled, but instead of the sled, there could be the rollers you put your tires in, and then give your car a go, and then maybe there could be the HP and torque curve graphs that pop up on the screen for 5-10 seconds. Maybe after you position your wheels on the roller (maybe the rollers could come up with a vehicle specific control on the dyno, that way you can drive you car on and off easily), you switch to the dyno machine to make the rollers come up, and then maybe press another button to turn the dyno "on" or "armed for testing", then you switch back to your car and rev it up, then when you let off the gas, the HP and torque readings could pop up. If ending the test like that wouldn't work, perhaps after letting off the throttle, you switch back to the dyno and press a button to end the test and show results. Perhaps it could have multiple rows of rollers for the front and back wheels like in the attached picture (link in case it doesn't attach right http://www.vivaperformance.com/content/335is/dyno/dyno-day-1.jpg) to accommodate longer and shorter cars, such as the AWD Sunburst, or the 4X4 off road D15 Again, sorry if this sounds like the ramblings of a mad man. I hope I was able to write my ideas out in a comprehensible way for the most part. Also, as previously stated, I'm no good at modding, so I'm not sure if this is something that could be thrown together easily, or if it would require custom scripts for the dyno to give a readout or any of that stuff. What do you guys think? I know TheRustRagdoll (get in here and back me up you bastard) likes the idea. It'd be awesome if the devs picked up this idea and made an official BeamNG.dyno tester.

NO WAY I guess I should have checked for it to exist first lol --- Post updated --- That makes me so happy Thanks!
IIRC the tire sides need to be collide-able and the measurements are not that good yet - we might need bigger rollers.
Me and a few others have been asking/suggesting a dyno since 2013, when I first saw it on the dev blog around a month ago made me so excited .
@tdev any new news on the dyno? I know you guys are doing alot of back end stuff right now. Just thought I'd ask.
i'm just now finding out about it being canceled, it's a shame, i would love to use the current prop they have in combination with the dyno app and it would be great, but its understandable.
Wow, that's kinda sad that it's gone, I guess I'll just have to go to a modding community I know of that a friend privately owns and see what they can do...
