Hello ! On the forum‚ there is around 400 threads wich talking about the multiplayers‚ and like 2 or 3 by days are created... I'm sure some have good idea on it‚ but no one look them‚ because it's really anoying ... Sooo‚ this is thread like the cars suggestion where you can talk about multiplayers !
This isn't going to work. We had an in-depth discussion on the topic and there were still new threads being created about it. While said thread was active. You can't expect people with that little intelligence to actually look before they post.
Well, I still think that when multiplayer becomes active, there should be a variety of gametypes. Capture the flag, last man standing, team-play demolition derbies, King of the hill: literally.
It will be an FPS killer on a lot of people's computers. Regular multiplayer where you play with your friends on Steam might be fine. But I think a lot of computers that get 20-25 FPS will drop down.
There are several ways to use complex physics with multiplayer tho. Games like KSP and Space Engineers do this easily. Besides, even if destruction physics has to be disabled, so be it, its not like people want their car to be so fragile 100% of the time
I don't think you understand. There aren't "destruction physics", there's simply physics. The handling and performance of the cars comes mainly from the physics
Ok. But there aren't a few games with complex physics that stated "ITS IMPOSSIBRU!" yet people still did it. And with destruction physics i meant the Jbeams themselves. Cant we make cars indestructible with jbeams with unlimited strenght, saving up CPU power?
The game would lost his personality‚ you know that the dev work to optimase the game‚ probably one day you would be able to run 30 cars et the same time !
Making the JBeam strength unlimited would just make the car "unbreakable", it wouldn't change the fact that the physics engine has to calculate everything.
