I was wondering if the link to the following build will be able to run BeamNG.drive at a minimum of 50 fps on high settings at a minimum of 1440 x 900. The build in the link is at about deadline price, so if I need a better gpu for example, I'd need another way to put the price down a bit.

I know I posted a thread similar to this previously, this is just an updated build and thread.

Yeah, totally! You could even go to 1080p @ 60 fps with that build.

Pretty sure that won't be much an issue on a R9 380 running 1440x900... that card should handle 1920x1080 with nearly cranked settings @60fps with little issues. Mind you vegitation, reflections, and SSAO are hard for many cards. But the 390/x390 are cards playable at 2k+... so a 380 should be more then enough for 1080P @FUN< FPS

The 6500 I5 should drive the game pretty well too.

Yes, but you can get better for the money.

Don't buy Windows from MS. Get a copy of Windows 10 from /r/microsoftsoftwareswap, you can get a key for around $40. If you get everything before the free upgrade ends you can get an 8.1 or 7 key for even less ($25) and upgrade for free.
Don't ever buy an antivirus, they're pretty useless and AVG is fucking awful TBH. Use Windows Defender for basic real time protection (it's pretty good) and get Malwarebytes for manual scanning.

You can add a DVD drive to this build, still under $800. Might be able to get an i5-6500 if you buy a Win8.1 key and upgrade.

Also. You should just wait for Polaris - Pascal has just been announced and performance/$ is far better than anything on the market right now (Nvidia claims GTX 1070 has Titan X performance for $370).

I made some of my own edits to the build link that you sent me, here are some of my edits.
    http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GQfv8d
    I added a 2TB HDD
And I know that I will be building the PC after June 10th (the release date of GTX 1070), so I'll add that on to the build once PCPartPicker has that gpu in their catalog.
I replaced the case with one that has a better look and is a slight bit cheaper.
I also took your note for the AVG Antivirus (I had experience with) and I think we could both agree that AVG is pure crap, I legit thought it was a virus, I just chose it because it was cheaper. In other words, I kinda regret the AVG.

Another thing, you said that I should go to Reddit and get a code for Win10, but I have heard some hell about other people doing that, and I thought that $50 more to prevent myself from what they were experiencing would be worth it. There were things about scams, codes not working properly and not getting responses, and also the codes lasting only 1-3 months, so I kinda let off of that one.

Just disable all of that crap when you install Windows 10 like I did and don't associate your user profile with a Microsoft account. Simple.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. No, seriously, Windows 10 has given me the best gaming experience on any Windows operating system ever released. As long as you don't have crapware running in the background (ahem, plays.tv which I somehow forgot to uninstall when I installed all of my drivers and stuff) you will be fine.

I have pretty much the same build, but with some differences (specs are at the bottom of my signature).

You need Windows 10 for DX12 support.

Excuse me, but pretty much every version of Windows (at least since Vista) has done this. They are just more open about it. The data collection has always been anonymous. There are settings to reduce the anonymous data collection Windows does. There is now some data collection that isn't anonymous, but that is for Cortana and Bing/Edge, all of which you can turn off. Personally, I prefer Win10 over Win7 and Win8/8.1. It is more efficient and better optimised. I like many of the features that I choose to use (or not use). I allow the data collection because it uses it to figure out when the best time to update is, and . And Windows 10 is the only version of Windows that supports DirectX 12, and therefore the only one that can play DX12 games.

Don't buy Hitachi hard drives, the Deskstar series especially. There's a reason they where nicknamed the "Deathstar".

I've had so many bad experiences with Hitachis.

For HDDs I always go with Western Digital (WD) and for SSDs I always go with Samsung, Crucial, and Kingston.

I've got some older 160GB OEM Hitachi drives. They are still running. I should probably move all the important data off of them... One of them is already failing.

3 cars, 55FPS, max settings with reflections turned off. Yeah, I'd say so.

I have a ASUS 380X and it does well for the price of $250 ( I do have it overclocked though.)

54 FPS at Utah spawn point

    Paired with a 3770K at 4.5 GHz
