I am honestly dumbfounded that I have to reiterate points I already made. --- Post updated --- His original point being an implication that holden vehicles are all rebadges of vauxhalls
Well this is interesting..... ...When you are aussie and come on and see a deep discussion going on about aussie cars and read through all of it so you can give your opinion being a proud aussie I thought it would be easy...... nope I don't understand any of the discussion so I will just put something related but not adding to the argument. Vauxhall VXR8 MALOO
That moment when you realise you should really put a lock on your computer after taking lots of medication. IDK where I was going with that.
(Sort of) Speaking of Holden, my brother bought another fucking car, I'm so jealous. His current project car: Sorry if you are 'offended' by my language.
I love when people say the Vauxhall VXR8, Vauxhall Monaro, Pontiac GTO, Pontiac G8, Chevy SS, Chevy Caprice, Chevy Lumina, Chevy Omega, etc.. Are all "based" on Holden and/or HSV . All that is different is that they are LHD with a new badge.
Man I want one of the sleeper sedans. The Ford SHO and Chevy SS are two really nice cars, but so expensive many wow.
Just for a record, I have to say that you inspired me to create a similar thread on Nationstates. http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=360203 Thanks for giving me the idea. --- Post updated --- No, it does not.
I've seen videos of people turning Fairmonts into sleepers, maybe that's a good place to start? What do they call it? Looks like Plum Crazy to me but a bit different.
Went back and took the Volvo on a real test drive. Drives pretty good, shifts nice and everything. Hood is still stuck, but I'm hoping I can buy it on Friday or Saturday anyway.
Why bother when you can just get a Chevy SS and it will be exactly the same except the gauges and steering wheel position will be correct for driving in America and it will be a lot cheaper and easier to get? You can even get it with Holden badges if you really care that much.
That colour is called "Morpheus Purple", its a factory colour for the VE Commodore. So its been custom done on that VF
Sorry I had to The colour might be off but its close. Gimp is fun. I was looking at an article in the latest issue of the New Zealand Performance Car and they had a 1997 civic LXI in there that has 260kw (349hp) at the front wheels, Imagine that thing pass you on the motorway.
This guy only wants $900 for this thing. I really wish I didn't have to save up to fix the Merc right now. Same miles as my Merc, 127k. It's quicker than my Merc to. 0-60 is rated at 6.9 seconds.
