If crydev ever returns after it's hack attack then you could download my Apache helicopter [ HERE ] - [ VIDEO ] I've also made a heap of other stuff which I hope to share one day.
Thanks! The bora is my first blender model, so it's not that well made. Which means it needs a lot of work to get it ingame. It would be fun to make but i don't have enough time/knowledge/interest to do it. Maybe sometime. Hopefully somebody else makes a jetta/bora for beamng!
In what little spare time I have, I've been working on a 68 Firebird. I would eventually love to bring it into the game, but for the moment, finishing it would be nice. I've got what you see below done so far, just finished the grill and did a render.
Actually, from seeing those, I think you should make up your own car based on this model. Something of a cross between that Firebird, a '68 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S (pic 1 below), and a '62 Pontiac Bonneville (pic 2 below). That'd be interesting to see '68 Barracuda Formula S | '62 Pontiac Bonneville
@FastClassic - I don't think I ever realized just how similar in shape the 67-69 Camaro/Firebird was to the Barracuda. Looks very similar, minus the crease in the body, and less of an angle off the rear quarter panels. Maybe once I finish it. @Zappymouse - At the panel lines, I chamfered then negative extruded, in the hopes of making it easier to remove the panels in the future. I will caution by saying that I am no professional, and pretty much have just been winging it.
This is what I have related to Drive. I made high poly count for render, but could come to do the low poly if only I could get the hang of Jbeam.
I just started this yesterday, it's my first car model ever, so I thought I would give 3D modeling a shot with my favorite car!
