I'm thinking of buying this. Also a 1988. It's a cbr1000f hurricane. Thoughts? A mechanic friend of mine flips bikes and called me telling me it was made for me. 12k miles on it and he has the fairings for it.
hes asking 2k usd. im going to see it Saturday and will probably offer him 1900 for it. should be nice to cruise around on.
For that price I'd expect a full tank and him to put the fairings back on, other than that liter bikes make great cruisers.
im having a tough time finding bikes around for less than 2k that aren't either 250s, or aren't beat to hell and back. the hurricane is a nice sport tourer that will still put a hurting on corvette or a gtr. you will not find a clean bike here with low miles for less than 4k it seems.
I'm checking for used ford f-150s and f-250s (super or regular cab long or short bed) I know how to drive manual and auto, but i'm just 13
Speaking from experience, this is an extremely fun, yet completely pointless and time wasting activity. But I just can't help myself. craigslist yo
@Cool Username Me too! (but it's just fun to see the prices) Because did you know, that in 2021 ( the legal year i'l be driving by myself) a 2016 ford f-150 xlt, with the xtr package (wich today costs aroud 30-35000$) would cost about 15000$ !
Put my summer wheels on and washed and waxed her. Love the fact its just warm enough now to have all the windows down with the sunroof open. Putting in the new headlights tomorrow.
Yep. Depreciation. On the other hand, I could be driving by myself as soon as 2018/19 curse you New Jersey for not having laws like Alaska!
Started my fiberglass work today. Doing a lip spoiler, as well as making my own front and rear bumpers.
How'd you get out of that mess?! ----- I'm thinking of a big decision. What do you guys think of this?
What I think? Hotness, pure hotness. Though that exhaust tip looks a tad too fat for my liking, rectifiable or maybe just something silvias have from factory (not an expert).
Very nice, I'm going to be importing a AE86 Trueno in July if the guys at our local shop who buy cars from japan from auction can get their hands on one for me, They have been working like nuts to find me one since I'm very persistent on a well maintained and undamaged version. It will either be the 86, a Chaser, or if I cannot find either of those I will be waiting till 2018 to import a 2003 Honda Integra Type R to replace my RSX. Since that is the proper version of my RSX. It is a really big process and takes a lot of time and it is very costly. Since a vehicle only has to be 15 years old in Canada we are getting access to a lot of cars we didn't before.
