Verizon finally pushed Android 6.0.1 to the note 5. Coming from Android 5.1 First thing I noticed. Faster response times Webpages load way faster (I have a 220 Mbps wifi and even on 5.1 webpages were kind of "slow" to load.) Less "laginess" and smoother UI Faster boot up Apps launch faster Can't comment on battery life just yet as I only had it on my phone for about 45 mins. (I know some phones had 6.0 for awhile now, just thought I'd share my experience from a Verizon Note 5 user .)
On 6.0 for a while already. What I like most is the permission you have to grant manually for each app.
I've had 6 on my Galaxy S3 for months now... It's pretty good. I like the material design. I know 5 also had it, but I went strait from 4 to 6 so..
How are you guys doing battery wise? I got 1hr 24 mins on it right now (as it says in settings) and I'm at 88% from a full charge. Mix usage Instagram Forums Chrome Screen brightness is almost at half way mark.
That depends mainly on your phone. MM has this 'Doze' feature that should improve your battery life. Having no problems reaching end of day with G4.
I have MM on my Moto G and I like it. Then again, I'm using Nova Launcher so my experience might be different. It's nice being able to set permissions.
I run Yahoo Aviate launcher, don't know why I just had the best experience with it. Update on battery life With this 64GB Note 5, I see about 18-19 hours (with my usage) with about 12% remaining. 6.0 is doing great and I'm loving it.
