Modular Guardrail Pack v0.2.2 (imported from here) (imported from here) Description Guardrails, ranging from 1 to 8 meters long. Dual and triple guardrails, guardrail ends and converters (from single to dual rail) are being made (http://epg.modot.org/files/thumb/b/b5/606.1_GUARDRAIL.jpg/450px-606.1_GUARDRAIL.jpg, example) Why don't include the pole in the rail? I did this to give the level designer more flexibility with height and corners. Be aware that clipping may occur when you place 2 rails next to eachother, so always place the furthest one a bit "to the right"(if you drive on the right side on the road), to avoid that. Changelog - v0.1 Initial Release - v0.2 Added Dual Rails (1m to 8m) and Dual_Pole. - v0.2.1 Fixed Poles dissapearing after loading second LOD, also have a texture now. - v0.2.2 Fixed gradient on the rails, may look a bit less smooth now untill I find out how you can edit the angle of smooth shading in Torque3d. Known bugs - Lighting issues on the far ends of rails in some occasions, if this happens, disable lighting on the object in the ingame editor. Re: Modular Guardrail Pack v0.1 awesome double and tripple poles are coming today (so you don't need to place 2 on top of eachother, saves polys ;p) and double and tripple guardrails are in the making, so you get better collision boxes, and then there is a lower chance of your car merging with the rail ;p. Also saves you some work. Also Curves are being made, although I don't really know how I should make them yet?, because every road is different. I think i'll make a 10 - 45 degree curve of every rail, and also going to add fences and walls, just because that's kinda easy and this pack is going to be large . Also I'd like to know any suggestions you have!
Re: Modular Guardrail Pack v0.1 A few different curve radius and lengths would be great, check how well the texture scales in the editor as when you scale a curve on the Y axis the curves radius will change and this can be used to fit to any curve precisely. I checked the strait rails and you don't notice any change in the texture with Y scale stretching.

Re: Modular Guardrail Pack v0.1 - Download inside Here we go, I am not 100% satisfied with the texture, but you can replace it with another tiled texture if you'd like to. (dimensions are 700x700). (give it the same name as the original texture file and it should look okay). And making the V shaped object caused some confusion with the collision boxes in game. they looked fine in the ingame mesh editor, only when I drove into the object, weird things occured. So I made 2 sides, on left and one right. You can resize them to make them a bit flatter, also included a rectangle shaped wall for the long straight . Also included the .blend file of the rectangle wall. So you can see yourself and maybe try and texture your next wall yourself . This action photo is great .

My only issue is how the texture goes from dark to light it looks kinda bad lookin at it when i have alot of rails u can see the textures going dark to light dark to light ect. Blend it in really well please
