I am selling a 1974 Bruckell Moonhawk. This Moonhawk have first generation Alder Royale 16x8 rims that came stock and an uncanny thing about this Moonhawk, is there are no large US spec bumpers on it. This Moonhawk was intended for sale in foreign countries so the large bumpers were not needed. This makes driving the Moonhawk easier. It still has your run of the mill cast iron 378 Cubic Inch V8 and I administered a power test and it is developing 147 horsepower right now. This Moonhawk belonged to my grandfather, it was passed down to my father, then to me. I currently own this Moonhawk, there are several problems. Where I live in Small Island USA, we often get hard rain and it has caused vital parts to rust on the Moonhawk. One common place of rust is in the floorboards, so I cut them out and welded new ones in and painted them black, reupholstered it, it is barely noticeable unless you look under the body. There is also rust underneath the body panels, it is mainly surface rust, which is easily treatable. I bought a kit of stainless steel screws for the body contruction, however the bolts holding the fenders, hood and everywhere else are frozen, I cannot drive them out without stripping the heads. The kit will come with the car anyway. The engine has been maintained regularly, same story for the gearbox, but the toque converter is slipping and the needle on the dial indicating which gear you are in is off, second to low gear is drive, drive is reverse and reverse is park. the low gear goes off the dial. I can no longer keep this car running. the repair costs will continue to go up and I cannot find a good mechanic in my residency. I hope to find a buyer in the mainland who can give this car more love than possible for me. It has been through three generations and continues to scrape along the poor roads of Small Island. I love this car, it keeps going no matter how many mechanical demons there are. The throttle was sticking, but I fixed it by cleaning the throttle box out and same for the shift linkages to the gearbox. This Moonhawk is still licensed for the road, but since I live in such a small community, it is not necessary to have license plates, so you will have to find some license plate holders if you buy this. I do not live far from the port and I will give you an easy price on the Moonhawk. I am asking 3,499 for it. I am open to trade for a 4x4 vehicle or an All Wheel Drive car. I do not care about the brand. Thank you and have a good day.
. --- Post updated --- Me again! i have also got a 2014 hirochi sunburst which was a rally car for a year until it had a fatal crash, this is when i bought it for just £30. i have done it up over the last year and givent it over 300 new parts which came up to a grant total of £20000 which i am going to take £500 pounds off of that to make the asking price which will be £15000. i put on it wide body bumpers and side-skirts a hi tech radio out of a Peugeot 4 default sport s wheels and a airbag steering wheel. here are some images also it has a really nice (to my opinion) blue coat of paint which i mixed up myself --- Post updated --- i have also have a brand new etk 800 which i would like at least £30000
I will have to turn that down. It is a nice vehicle, but I will prefer something more heavy duty were it a pickup truck. Thank you for your offer anyway.
