This is probably one of the best light aircraft to fly in BeamNG but I'm having a problem, it cannot go past 25 mph which means it can't get airborne at all. I even tried long concrete runway and it did not lift 1 inch :v what gives

I cannot get this thing to take off for the life of me. It stays in first gear and only gets up to 22mph no matter what surface I try it on. Ive tried it on manual and arcade automatic and nothing seems to work. Any advice??

Yes I can fully confirm no matter what surface you attempt to takeoff on or what driving gear mode. It cannot push past 22-26 mph. It's perfectly suitable for BeamNG.

Thanks for the report, something in the latest update of BeamNG changed, and broke the mod :p
I'm slightly busy now, but I will try to fix this and update the mod as soon as I have the time. Thanks for your patience :).

it seems a change in the aerodynamics is breaking all plane mods
you may just want to wait for an update to the game

I think I'm missing something somewhere, I can't get it off the ground at all. It gets up to around 25mph but no more no matter what i try. Any help would be much appreciated as I'd love to get in on this nice relaxing flying all of you are enjoying!

I have inspected this file very carefully. Here is what i've found: The inputs are correct. Due to the update the rpm values were messed up. I'm monkeying around with them. i will let you know if i have fixed it

Cool. I've been also working on it. It has proven to be a bit more difficult to properly fix than I thought. It's not only a problem of propeller rpm's I think. Because the overall lift/drag physics calculations changed with the update, changes to the wing drag etc. might be needed for the Eolus.
And yeah let me know if you think you have some useful progress!

I think that the next update will fix the issues as they rewrote the code and may have unintentionally changed some things

I'm not sure about it, I think those changes are here to stay, as having the drag/lift physics reworked and having vehicles' behaviour affected by it is not a bug per se. We'll see :p

if they stay it would mean one of the greatest mods will remain broken :(

I have looked at the inputs, but the file remains broken. The .zip file will re-zip incorrectly.

The problem is not in the inputs, it's in the propeller and wing lift/drag capabilities.
After many tweaks and changes and after many time spent working on it, I haven't still been able to make it fly as properly as it deserves and as it used to. So it'll remain unsupported for a bit, until further notice. :(

I Have begun working on this again. I believe the problem is that after the update, the rpm values are not high enough to even make the prop move. If you can look inside the engine files, I am tinkering around with the weight of objects, and the rpm values. If you decrease the friction, this should solve the problem. I will let you know if it works. I'm testing it right now. Also if you notice, when you press t, it only shifts into 1st gear, and it speeds it up x1000rpm. So we need to go based on these calculations.
