This thread is dedicated to those few who need a fps friendly maps for thier crappy (and my crappy) laptops if you know any more fps friendly maps go ahead and comment I personally have problems with fps

Now how to get better fps (still looking tho)
1.of course lower the quality of the game
2.disabling collisions give a big boost
3.use those codes in the launch options: -USEALLAVILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d10 (there should be space Between them)
    4.disabling shadows might help sometimes
5.downlad AMD Crimson if you have a AMD processer
6.open task manager go to process and set the processing to realtime for beamng (this will make your pc a bit laggy in apps that are opened while beamng is open)
7.download fps friendly cars and maps
These are the things that I used to get better fps

Now for the fps friendly maps
    1.vr city
2.sulaco bay won't harm your fps
    3.rn154
    3.rally island
    4.frozen lake
5.insane testing (currently not working on 0.5.2.1)
6.mincraft map (currently not working on 0.5.2.1)
    7.track civetta
8.ultimate test terrain (currently not working on 0.5.2.1)
    9.better grid map
10.iihs crash hall (not sure if it works on 0.5.2.1)
11.insane testing (currently not working on 0.5.2.1)
    12.small town
    13.garfiled heights
I hope I helped and I hope you help me Thx if you know a map that isn't on this list which is fps friendly tell me and I'll add it

NEVER set a process to real time. It gets prioritised over system processes, which can cause Windows to become unstable and crash. It's meant for very short (few seconds at most) system critical processes.

You should probably leave process priority alone unless you really know what you're doing.

I'm not sure it's the best idea to muck around with that. It also looks like you made a typo...
I don't think those even do anything in BeamNG.drive. You can't expect all games to do that just because another one can.
EDIT: Seems those are for ARK: Survival Evolved
That's for AMD graphics, not the processor. Also, not all AMD graphics cards or APUs would work with that.
I'm pretty sure the Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 3470 I have wouldn't...
    No. Just don't.

yeah those launch options aren't supported on beamng so won't make a difference.
real-time is for specific use case only and beamng is not one of them, raise beamng one level over normal only.
as above. AMD crimson is for gpu not cpu so won't help

    everything else is just obvious

not really. It'll crash the pc, won't break anything though, it'll boot right up normally.

Setting the priority to "above normal" should do the trick
"high" is for if you know what your doing
    NEVER set it to "realtime"
this is reserved for the system
doing this can and will make your mouse slow and freeze up and audio to come out choppy and not work (you are essentially giving beamng the same priority that those two essential things normally only have)

It's OK to set strategies to realtime.

Don't think like a programmer all the time. Set your strategies to real time....real time strategy? Among other literary persuits, I do enjoy a play on words from time to time.

    What
If you're talking about RTS games, how is that relevant to the thread? I assumed 'strategies' was used for some reason in place of 'processes' because of context. Wasn't expecting an unrelated pun :/

Disabling collision in BeamNG is useless that way you can't crash cars into each other etc.

It was a corny pun I just felt like sharing it. This forum has a relatively small number of regular users so we have a kind of familiarity among us. Half my posts have some kind of wise Crack hidden in there so if I say something odd, don't take it for face value.

True but it can make the difference between being not able to play the game at all and having a playable frame rate. :)
