    Hi,

I recently made a map, not from scratch, but based of the Brutal Slope map by Kimmykix. Now I've made enough progress to put it on the forums, so it's time to change the name, description, preview pic and so on.
I did that all, but somehow when I start BeamNG to check if it worked, nothing changed. Still same old name, description, preview pic and so on.
When I checked if the info.json and .mis file had magically changed back to their state before I changed them, like they sometimes do, they haven't changed.

I double and triple checked everything. All the stuff is changed in the files, but not in the level-selector. Is there some kind of cache problem or what is going on here? I'm kinda clueless.

Is the .mis loading the newly named terrain file? Terrain filepath correct in the .mis?

Yes but now that I checked it, somehow everything messed up.

I checked all paths one by one and corrected it when necessary. After that I loaded up the level in BeamNG and everything worked, only one error message appeared saying something about default tree missing, but I did not worry about that.
I made a nice screenshot for the thumbnail and modified the info.json file (see attached files)

Before all that I tested the map a bit and took some screenshots. (see attached files)

But after I modified the info.json and the .mis file everything was gone and the original Brutal Slope 2.0 map loaded instead of mine.
I've uploaded the folder I've been working with, so maybe someone can help me. (There's a secondary folder named DownhillMadness but it's basically the same.

One thing I noticed right away is the zip isn't packed right. It should be 'levels/Brutalslope only.
There are a couple of terrain materials that point to industrial. The map is loading 'Slope12.ter
only so the other .ter files can be eliminated. I renamed the info.json Brutalslope and it worked.

I might try to pack it up and see if it will work zipped and in mods, I assume that is what you're
    aiming to do.

No problemo. Were the rocks and bushes your addition and are they supposed to be in the map?

All my addition, in fact everything, except the slope terrain.

Hmm. The Brutalslope I opened up from your zip didn't have the rocks that I saw of. I will look at it in more detail when I get home from work.
It's a pretty cool map for pure gravity assisted destruction, very medicinal:p.

Thanks, but I think you're seeing the original map Brutalslope, which has those pipes to go through and some containers. Maybe the wrong terrain file is loading or something else messed up.

Yeah I was a tad confused by all the .ter files and just used the one that first loaded (slope12.ter).
I will start over looking at it. I apologize if I'm slow, working feverishly on two maps myself in every
second of my non sleeping life.

No need to hurry, btw your maps are awesome :D, take all the time you need. I'm just thankful if someday I get to work on my broken half finished map again.
