I am considering putting £350 into the bank and then putting £349.98 onto a G920 with a shifter.....

It's hard to export Mini DV tapes as video now.

Reconsider. Try one of thrust masters offerings. The t300 and t500 are really nice wheels and I read the g29 and 920 have g27 guts but that could be not true. Your already spending a ton might as well swing hard.
Edit: I have only used both thrust master wheels but not the g29. I owned a g25 for a number of years. My long term list is either a short block with forged rods and pistons to go along with a turbo setup, or just some breathing mods and race cams for my all motor setup. Big cams baby.

I will be buying spare parts so I can build a shifter to add on to my Ferrari racing wheel for my computer. The wheel design doesn't have a shifter, so I'm having to make my own.

    Upgrading the buggy R9 280X to a 970 or 780.
I'm never buying AMD again. Horrible software/driver update system as well, the nVidia Geforce Experience is a lot better. (Used with GTX 580).

Get a 970. 780 has no DX12 support and bad GameWorks support.

Thanks! And on top of that it is more energy efficient.

OT, new PSU, I also need a new HDD so I'm getting another 1TB WD Blue. Can't afford both but I'm probably getting the drive first since I'm out of space in games partition.

Getting a new Monitor in a few months (Birthday). Also quite recently I ordered some Audio Technica M50x's and a DBrand skin to go on it.

    Said it like 370 or 380 times: R7 370 or R9 380. Respectively the 400-series versions.

Yeah, I know. I don't need much more than the 750Ti because my monitor is only 1280x1024.
