More fans = more air flow, more airflow = lesser RPM's to get the same amount of airflow. For example two fans running at 500RPM theoretically will move the same amount of air as one fan running at 1000RPM, well not exactly but you get my gist.

    Yes, of course.
@SixSixSevenSeven That could be because of the higher noise frequency then, or am I wrong?

*shrugs*, but faster fans seem louder

My theory is A. The blades of the fan ripping trough the air at higher velocity causing more noise and B. The whine from the motor. But I'm no scientamist.

That makes sense. It would have to get exponentially louder though.

None of it is really "wrong" per say. But negative pressure can sometimes equate to higher temps. Positive pressure is usually used to help keep a system clean, as the dust can't really settle. Dust settles very, very, VERY well with neutral pressure. I've also found neutral pressure to give the best temps (but positive can make an argument).

Mic on my G430 came loose. It's an easy fix, just have to tighten a screw, but I have to remove the ear piece and I don't have the right screwdriver. So now I have to buy one. And use the headset like this until I get it. It's annoying. /rant

The i7-6700k is $420. They can keep it.

X99 is cheaper and there's more cores/threads. Doesn't perform as well in single threaded, but Beam need as many as possible.

Same happened with the mic on my Gamecon 380's. Second time in the three years I've owned them actually. Same fix. And they just keep soldiering on, sound like crap compared to my headphones but thy're built well enough.

I5 got here today open box never used, slapped it into my system and already got it at 4.4Ghz 1.2v Vcore at 83°c max during intel burn test which sounds like a lot until you remember IBT over stress' your CPU so IRL gaming shouldn't hit 70, gonna go play some BNG now.

He hasn't really broken anything yet (that I've seen). He's only shaken a pair of $50,000 headphones and called ASUS assholes.

Didn't Linus loose like everything the other day? Something about a server dying?
