to save space you leave the map visible there and you double click it and it downloads, so you can have only one map installed to save space and allowing people to download the game on devices faster when they have a slow connection

What? Are you suggesting that we have to download the map each time we want to play it? That will make things run slower.

so that if you have a really slow connection then you can download gridmap and only the maps you need, not ones you dont use (such as DRI)

    I'm not following.

If I can only have 1 map at a time, that is going to make it worse on a slow connection, not better, common sense dude...

    I'm understanding it...
He's suggesting that you start with no maps and then you can download only the ones you want to use.

It reduces the amount of drive space needed for those that don't need all the included maps and it might help people on metered internet connections that are downloading the game.

I just dont think its worth it though. Drive space, delete the ones you dont want.
Metered internet connections, ok maybe, but is it really worth BeamNG then stripping all the maps out of the game to then reupload them as mods when half the forum consists of incompetant nitwits that cant work out how to install them

I don't think it's worth it either. It was just a suggestion though.
