I have decided to move from Community showroom to here, because topic was going down. well, the rest of mesh is already done . i have no clue about making the car work in-game, scripts, like engine, jbeam, suspension, flexbodies etc. so i really need help with that. here are progress pictures, hope you like them. *Ingame screenshots at page 2! i started working with usuall blueprints setup. I spend half of a day to make blueprints setup correcly, and make the mesh. Another day i got the rest of the mesh done + wheels, and some details. Now i got this (imported from here) And the new rim for a stock version.
Re: [WIP]-VW Golf I will do, but first i want to learn how to make scripts. this project will be on hold for a long amount of time i guess.
Re: [WIP]-VW Golf I was so excited seeing this as I have a MK5 Golf myself, but then I noticed it's a MK6. Well, close enough, I'll still have fun driving this ingame!
Re: [WIP]-VW Golf nice work! just 1 observation, Golf VI have a folding line under the windows, that also affects the shape of the taillight! great job!
Re: [WIP]-VW Golf because in 90's they started to make cars crapier and crapier and crapier and now they turned their cars in to pile of plastic poop.
Re: [WIP]-VW Golf well they are fast and hi the electronic everything electric gas pedal electric handbrake electric gearbox electric aaand after 5 years you can throw it away because it wil start falling a part (like almost every moderncar lol) God what happened how aboy mercedes W123 and W124 they are classy and they are undestructable Or G class they turned it int to a SUV an Offroad car in ta SUV WTF MAN WHY ? any way end of offtop
Re: [WIP]-VW Golf It looks awesome for some reason i can never get the mirror modifier to work with my jetta any tips?
Re: [WIP]-VW Golf I have a feeling that those tuner/custom rims are far too big. There's almost no sidewall, the top of the tire is just about where the rims end, which isn't the most realistic.
Re: [WIP]-VW Golf That is no problem, there are stock rims also for the car. and i will try to make current rims a little bit smaller. Thanks for commenting.
