OK, so it looks like there is no way of currently doing this, is it possible for you to script in the ability to have separate textures for front and rear plates, instead of just using 1 texture for both, to allow us to make things like UK plates, or even vanity plates, like they have in the US.
This would be a brilliant idea! They could also have those frame things that go around the plates like this:
If you've seen my license plate mod, there is actually one plate for both the front and back of the car, in two separate files, just duplicated. So this is already possible.
Oh i thought the separate files were bump maps and stuff but I'm not that experienced with stuff like that. I think they need to make plate frames though.
I have tried having those 2 textures different, but it always only has one plate on the front and rear, not one on the front and a different one on the rear.
