Glitch
Driving off the dirt road into the snow on Rally Forest causes the rear wheels to drive forwards without the bus, causing the wheels to go up in to the center of the bus.
Notes:
First the obvious, there is no interior
Next a few less obvious. The rear view mirrors in first person do not work, they show an inverted upside-down version of the map in them, and the rear wheels drive forward without the bus when driving in the deep snow at Rally Forest. You default spawn in the deep snow, so that is a problem.

Next, a few visual things that could improve. The license plate is from Indiana, yet the side of the bus says "East Coast Public Schools". I think somewhere I saw where the devs based the map "East Coast, USA" off of Maine, maybe a Maine plate would suit it.

In case you are wondering, I replicated the old user interface with the UI editor, because it has more detail and depth in it about what is currently happening.

this mod is one of the best things even brought to beamNG, its not perfect but thats what makes it fun

i have found an anoying problem, the stearing breaks quite easaly, would be great if it was a bit harder to break it also i would love to see a drag version of it XD also rear suspention is verry "special"

 

When I was a kid, I rode buses similar to this and there is not a lot of interior in it... You had vinyl seats, metal floor, just a tad of rubber in the center aisle so children do not slip in winter times...

 

What does that have to do with messed up rear wheels and small details?
The rear view mirror reflects things inverted and the plate says Indiana, yet the bus says East Coast USA on it.
The interior is fine just the fact that theres no steering wheel or dashboard.

 

Unfortunately my parents couldn't afford the stretch limo to drive me to school so I had to ride.... the Yellow School Bus! and it is indeed empty



not even cup holders, oh the horror! at least in my mod it has leather premium leather seats, they don't make them shine like that anymore.

Some updates:

I'll soon be working on the front dash and steering wheel, once that is complete i'll start work on the Mad Max Bus! after all the mods are done I;ll work on breakable glass.

 

You should make a short version of the bus, that would be fun

the drivers seat literally dosent have an interior, i bet it wasent THAT stripped

 

I was not directly answering all your questions just one. I like the bus and the imperfections are why. Nothing is going to be perfect without bugs...

 

I will be changing the label to Alpha or Pre-Alpha since there are alot of bugs inherent in this release.

Beta is best reserved for software that doesn't have bugs but aren't complete. hope this clears up alot.

 

Maybe an H45 Short Bus instead?

 

well beta is just work in progress, no need to change it IMO, as long as it dosent crash the game i think beta it fine

 

I have a really bad Idea, but a lowrider bus or at least some lowrider options

 

It may not work, the side doors and the transmission would be scraping the ground
