I know how to set up, edit and add materials for my vehicles in game. but I don't know how to UV unwrap, normal map or texture a vehicle, I need a complete tutorial on how to do this and I will be off to some great creations! Are there any complete guides on doing this?

Practice and lots of YouTube videos is what you need. Gabester and B25Mitch did a couple of blog posts that can be found via Google cache and the wiki, albeit without pictures. They mainly explain beamng specific work flow, however most of it can be gathered from looking at the files of official vehicles and experimenting with different techniques. It all comes back to general knowledge of uv mapping, texturing and normal map creation so there are loads of places to learn that online, either via wiki's or on YouTube (my personal preference)

Also don't expect to learn it over night just start with uv mapping then textures then finally mess around with normals.

Thanks! I hope i get this right, the main thing is to mark the seems that i want to cut (Map) and Blender will spread the vertices and edges out almost like dropping a cloth onto the floor? What I mean is I don't have to mess with all of the vertices and edges of my vehicle, it looks like I just have to cut seems at a few places like the roof, the hood, the side, etc. and Blender will spread out each part flat.. is that it?

It will do that with mixed success, but its not really possible to unwrap the whole vehicle like that, its alot of project from view for main body panels as well as smart uv for small parts like rubber trims, bolts etc. Basically it takes alot of work by hand.

ok once I unwrap it how do i export the UV picture?

I have too many questions, i would need a complete walk through from UV editing to texturing and materials.cs setup. I hope someone can make a full tutorial.
