So I just decided to give a little bit of modding a go by editing the Drug Deal scenario by Scepheo, replacing all the cars with Pigeons to give myself a little laugh However, when I try my creation, well I can't really describe it so here's a picture As you can the UI is freaking out and none of the cars have loaded I've included the modified mod as a whole below (I can't seem to upload the one edited file on its own) If anyone can tell me what I've done wrong I'd be thankful
I just tried making my own. The delivery Pigeon gets stuck in a ditch on a 90 degree corner. I even gave it stabilizers...
Just wondering, how did you replace the cars? would it be possible to do that for the destroy the moonhawk scenario? I want to try destroy a T-75 with a pigeon, or destroy a bolide with a rock crawler once one gets updated. Edit: does anybody know if the AI will drive in reverse if the car has better gear ratios for reverse than forwards?
I edited the prefab file with Notepad++. I used the premade part configs to make things simpler. Here are the parts I changed: Code: JBeam = "pigeon"; partConfig = "vehicles/pigeon/base.pc"; There's also stabilizer.pc and 600.pc Yes. I don't think so.
Aww, I guess the bolide won't be a runaway ramp unless I completely remove the forward gears, although I'd probably have to strengthen the nosecone's connection to the body and most likely some other parts. But anyways how do you find out what to replace the JBeam and part config things with? Edit: I couldn't even find the folder with the scenarios
For the JBeam, I believe it's the name of the vehicle folder in the zip. For the partConfig, look through the vehicle's zip and find the files with the extension ".pc".
I can't find the scenarios folder. edit: nevermind I found the scenarios, but I can't figure out how to do it right, when I tried east coast usa wouldn't even load up in free roam
