After you turn 13 it's all downhill. You start getting grown up, smarter, and less annoying. Also menopause.

 

Today I looked at a pack of donuts, and thought to myself : "Nah, I'll eat some carrots instead."

Becoming an adult is scary stuff.

 

I'm gonna have to spend like 2 hours cleaning everything up tomorrow

If you think about it, getting older in general is pretty scary.

 

I played GTA SA on the PS 2 with my sister about 6 years ago, and, while the disc was a little corrupted, it was still an awesome experience. I bought it for PC about 3 years ago (DVD version) and the cheat codes alone made me play it for almost 500 hours total (the best cheat IMO is "bubblecars")

 

I started trying out bonus songs on Guitar Hero 2, and came across this one. Considering I play any new Guitar Hero song on Expert, you could imagine how surprised I was by the sudden change in pace on my first playthrough. (this video isn't from my first)

 

It seems I've been off the forum quite a lot more since the new layout, my bad instincts seem to have been kicking in, ugh. Reddit's been my timesuck lately.
Although this is the only thread to care for really on the whole forum :/

 

Well, I found a working v1.0 exe of GTA-SA on a Steam thread about hooking up SAMP.

Unfortunately, I must have Steam closed when playing it.

 

Widescreen support is ironically better on the older versions, there was a launch parameter which would enable drawing of any custom resolution.

They also updated removing a bunch of songs.

Of course it was the good ones that got removed.

 

The above image from Nadeox1's Blender imgur album got me motivated to a) convert a text object to a mesh object to UV map it and b) use the UV map. I just finished the UV map, so on to modifying and actually using it I guess. Once I'm done I'll post final rendered image.

Ok, so after failing miserably at that text thing I've decided to revive my spacecraft project thing. Since that is a little bit easier to texture it should be doable for me, now that I've got the basics down.
