So tonight the Super Blood Moon Eclipse occurred and I happened to get a pretty sweet picture. Who else saw it or has a picture they want to share?
(imported from here) This was in Nova Scotia taken @ around 11:30-11:40pm ADT (Atlantic Daylight Time) I have about 52 images taken from my Nikon D5100 with stock 18-55mm lens. One can only wish they had a super narrow lens for this. love how I posted this two min after the thread was started.
I actually forgot about this, until I set up the CNN app on my dad's phone and saw the article. I noticed it mentioned the peak time was 10:47PM Eastern Time (7:47 PST). When I did this, it was about 7:50PM, so I rushed outside and saw it, just in time. Perfect conditions too, clear skies... I envy you guys on the east though, apparently it was the best there. Here it was the same size as the ordinary moon, but red. Still not everyday you get to see a red moon, eh?
I saw it through a telescope that i almost forgot i had... unfortunately no pictures because all the cameras we have absolutely suck
Couldn't see the eclipse because it was so cloudy but I took some nice photos of the supermoon behind clouds about 8 hours before the eclipse. Can't show the pics tho because I can't find the cable for the camera.
Just tall buildings were I live. I'd need to go a bit outside the city if I want to get a good view. Too lazy :|
Haha. I forgot that you lived in Michigan too. I was terrified that I'd miss the eclipse because of the stupid clouds. I took a few pictures, but I haven't uploaded them to my computer yet.
