I have known that since 2013. I find the mid 80s Mitsubishi Gallant's are cool cars I wouldn't mind owning one as they would make great sleepers. whats your thoughts on this car.
In 2017 it will be discontinued. They are currently getting close to announcing the VF series 2 with some new features & a facelift. In 2017 the next Commodore will be a disgrace to the Commodore name, FWD, German built with a V6 engine.
commodore in a nutshell almost all of the generations have been based on a European Opel or Vauxhall.
All Commodores up until 2006 were built on the same platform as certain Opels, but they were always Australian built, RWD with V8s. Now they are just going to be as boring as a Chevrolet Malibu.
I really like it. Over here, it's called the Mitsubishi Sapporo. What about the Isuzu Piazza? One of my favourite Japanese cars.
Its called the Mitsubishi Magna over here & the Australian domestic models were just terrible. No competitor whatsoever to their rival sedans from Holden, Ford, Toyota & Nissan - - - Updated - - - I would prefer one of its competitors.
they had the base Galant slapped a 3.0 litre V6 and called it the Mitsubishi V3000 over here, my dad had a super saloon, I have a picture of me staring at it when I was a baby. the slogan was "more tow than an aussi tank" here's a picture of one similar to what my dad owned the only difference is the color. - - - Updated - - - oh I forgot to mention they were popular with our traffic police departments back in the late 80s. - - - Updated - - - bitch please
There is a black 1987 Toyota Celica 2.0 GT for sale in my town really cheap. It was repainted and had some rust fixed in 2008. It looks very nice. It would definitely be a step up from my Audi. What do you think? (not actual car)
I've always sort of envied the fact that even in modern times you Aussies have big GM and Ford sedans that are V8 powered and RWD. I was so happy that we started getting rebadged Commodores over here in the states, first with the old G8 and now with the SS. Unfortunately the demand for those cars here is so low that they are really hard to find and usually pretty expensive. It's a real shame that you'll be getting boring replacements.
Yeah, nah mate. The XB is a great Falcon but its just the most famous Falcon, not the greatest. The XF is an engineering gold mine, if there was an apocalypse I would be going for the XF Falcon, not the XB.
Well I was not able to go check out that 2001 CVPI yesterday, but hopefully Saturday I can. My friend's uncle, who is supposed to be buying my car, better pull through. I am way too hyped at this point.
I suppose you actually want FWD and a four-cylinder engine. That's fine, just please don't say it in public lest the manufacturers make even more of those things.
