Hi how do you get level and completely smooth decal roads in beamng. I have to do this but my roads always come out not very smooth or crooked or both. What am I doing wrong.
    Thanks

You should go to the Questions And Support section but its okay.

You just need to flatten the road with the "Flatten" tool under the terrain editor.

Then you smooth out the odd looking ridges that get made with the "Smooth" tool in the terrain editor. That about covers it.

I tried that but the roads were still very bumpy.

Maybe you just have to do it more? Otherwise I don't really know

Making roads 100% smooth in Torque with the Torque editor tools is impossible. Torque mesh roads are very smooth but very expensive
and it won't be long before your map becomes a laggy mess. The only way to get mirror smooth roads in endless quantity is via a third party
heightmap creation software (LT3D, World Machine, etc ). Make your roads in those programs and then import that heightmap into Torque.

Smooth roads have been made with a Sims road tool and a Cryengine road tool as well. Dirt roads are the only thing the Torque tools are good for.
