This mod is currently being updated to match the specs of current BeamNG vehicles (0.5.3.2). There is no longer a roadmap for this mod; updates and suggestions are now solely community-dependent.
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport Cool! this is a perfectly legit mod, the ford explorer was avalible in 2 door or 4 door versions. You should also mount the spare tire on the tailgate for an even more sporty look.
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport I was making a Roamer Sport, it is like 98% finished, all it needs is a re-texture on the body. But I am terrible at textures, so it probably wont be finished until I actually figure how to properly texture.
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport This is a pretty cool idea. I hope it works out well. Although, I don't think that there should be one year of production. Say it was a successful model. So, maybe just the Roamer Sport.
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport That's not too bad. If it were an official model, it could be called the Gavril Stampede (à la Ford Bronco). One year? I said "introduced in...", not "only built in..." or "discontinued in...". Thank you for your motivation, though. Update - INFO.JSON and parts configuration: (imported from here) It doesn't spawn with wheels yet, but I applied edge split to most of the body panels, so it looks a bit nicer: (imported from here) It also spawns with the small flatbed trailer now: (imported from here)
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport Also, this vehicle will be better for off road use because it will have a shorter length. It is a really neat mod. I cannot wait to drive it.
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport Its a big step to get it in game. this is a genuine mod, I simply cannot wait to drive this on jungle rock island.
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport This looks really fun to drive. Is it super easy to roll like the old Ford Explorer?
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport I think you said it was the Vauxhall frontera from top gear. Make sure it has those "grippy penis wheels"
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport I might be able to get the bodys jbeam aligned, but I probably wouldn't get the suspension working properly. I'm also not good with weight and all the beam propertys, but I'm sort of competent at doing stuff like adjusting original (imported from here) jbeams from official vehicles. So yeah, I'll give it a shot. --edit-- So the main body jbeam is adjusted. I just need to find out what ther other nodes are and where they're from and then I can try to do the suspension.
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport I suppose so: Oh, I got the rear suspension and frame Jbeamed last night. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. But if we want to turn this into a competition, then I'm all for it. Also, how fast is it? Mine is slow as hell for some reason.... All I need to do is the roof and the space where the rear doors used to be, and I need to solve a few other issues, then I'll release it.
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport For the material issue. Try the materials.cs and create or use the actual roamers dds files.
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport No rear door handles please, the roamer should not have any relation to a Mazda RX-8.
Re: '95 Gavril Roamer Sport The jbeam is pretty much done except for weight . Textures don't work but that's already fixed on your side. As for speed, since the weight and the engine weren't changed it's still exactly the same as the original roamer. --edit-- The wheels have also been postioned okay-ish. Here's a list of all the parts that I can remember changing. rear bumpers tailgate rear doors rear axle body All have either been slightly moved or modified to fit the sport roamer better. I've done it all in NBeditor in about 45 minutes or so, didn't take to long.
